Better to get MSW from NZ itself so you could be registered directly after course. College will assist in this. If you do overseas, then you need to get to Nz with some course and then convert it to NZ standards. This is done via applying through Social workers registration board here. Thanks, Rohan

MSW has got opportunities in NZ for sure. To work as a social worker, you need to be registered here with Social Workers Registration Board. Even though any specialisation in MSW (overseas) is worth equal here, its preferred to take a specialisation in medical as most job opportunities in NZ revolve around health field.
