They did this in London and it’s still congested and the people hate paying because it takes time out of their day and reduces their finances. They’re doing the same in New York and it’s honestly just greed.
Los Angeles doesn't have a decent enough transit system to rely on as an alternative to driving. London and New York do. Far more commuters in NY use some form of transit than drive into Manhattan, probably the same in London.
Pay for overpriced gas, buy expensive electric cars, and pay to drive on public highways. Do we get to vote on this or is it just an automatic tax?

@@gavinnewscum it’s people like you who are so ignorant of good change that cause these kinds of projects to experience extreme delaying and high costs. San Francisco built a BRT lane on Van Ness, it took 6 years to build, but it was very successful and many people use it.

Weather I take public transportation or taking my personal vehicle. I've taken surface and freeways. Same outcome!!!

It is bad for low income families every time some idiot wakes up they make a new stupid law how to make money and how to make people to pay for it , this is insane men
Just take transit, it may take longer but it costs way less for low income families in the long run, and with more demand to take transit the more we build on it and the more reliable it will be.
Riding the transits is a risk I no longer willing to take so if anyone have to take the transit they should pray for God and ask Angel for protection.

I rode the greenline for 25 years out to El Segundo. I saw it all.

@@tyrese3745 Right, a bus and train system where it takes 3x as long to get to your destination. Maybe just 2x as long on rush hour, but still. Don't believe me? Try going from Wilmington or Harbor City (not next to the 110) to UCLA (where a lot of people still work) or Wilshire Blvd with just public transit.
And don't get me started on the safety of it once you're on the buses and trains. I was unfortunately over-reliant on the LA metro system and boy, were there dangerous characters every other day. People would shout, start fights, sleep (in the stations) and I even got harassed a few times. So excuse us if we don't see the LA mass transit as a viable alternative to driving. Congestion pricing can work in other places like London and Amsterdam, NOT LOS ANGELES.

What is low income?
Are poor people that could bearly make ends meet and sometimes they have too much children live in welfare for life that the government doesn't wanted to support more than 4 children in which little money given to the parents but the maximum benefit they still received.
People in welfare could only have one car otherwise they disqualified for welfare so mostly those other BMW and Mercede Benz are put in there other family name that grown out from the system.
No worries about low income as in California they probably will receive something out of it. As it all in the system and yet for those that know the system survive while some that don't suffer. It all come from tax payers no worries we are all one but some just know how to get the American pie while other just crumb.
Low income suffer more than people in the system of welfare just wanted freebies handout and housing.
Sadly low income, they don't know how to take full advantage of the system and so they worked hard taking on two minimum wage jobs or so.
