Agreed. The 2021 was better IMO. The 2022 is still nice though.
Bill Kats long time no see. I have been wondering where u have been all these while, since I haven't seen u comment on my comment section in a while. Well, there are various reasons for this particular design, and it is the Perth Mint that gives guidance on how this years design should look like, while the job of a designer is to design to specifications. 😅

This is a far better design than the last one I reckon .
Depending on which side of the spectrum u look at it, but I will reserve my analysis for myself, until I have actually gotten time to review it in detail on my channel. 😁😁😁 The design is not bad at all. I don't know why people are panicking about it. 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
last years design was amazing the best IMHO. this years does nothing for me... does not even motivate me to buy one thats for sure.
2022 design is very ugly!!!!! The best design was 2021.
totally agree last years design is amazing bought the one oz two oz and ten oz versions. dont even want to know the premium for that 10 oz coin was insane.
No offense meant to the video creator by the following. It's a shame, because there have been some beauties in this series, but my brain is hurting just looking at this one such is the aesthetic discordance being created by the placement of the beak on the side, the lack of subtle detail in the figure, the figure itself, oh my. I was waiting to see it on video before i made any sort of decision on a bunch. No way. Will still buy a single example though, for the collection, ahh to be such a sucker as i. Maybe they were trying to pattern this design after the type 2 gold eagle which also features an eagle's bust.
@@dleetr Yes, I agree with you, I think the Perth Mint was trying to mimic the Gold Type-2 but they did a horrible job here!!!!
