somehow this old video showed up on my playlist, and I LOVED watching you color blends. This never gets old to me and I could watch over and over. These cards are just beautiful..
These are absolutely gorgeous! I studied and worked with dolphins whales and sea lions for many years so everything about these just makes me happy! Purple Is My Jam, so I think the purple one is my favorite. However, I'm also a huge Miami Dolphins fan and so the sunshine one that has some of the orange and turquoise is very similar to Miami Dolphin colors. They even have a pink jersey for breast cancer awareness. But now I feel like I've left the blue out and it's sad and lonely so I love you too blue! 💜
I really love the one with the yellow in it and I think the green was a happy accident as it looks like a reflection of the sun on the water! Beautiful.
I absolutely love the all blue skies. But it's really close between all three. Going to have note these color combinations. They all turned out stunning! Thanks for sharing.
All 3 cards are gorgeous. My fav is the middle one. Having that tiny bit of yellow in with the sea glass ink was perfect. Sun on the water you know. ;) Thanks for sharing.
Love the beach theme! Wish I was snorkeling in the Caribbean right now! I think the orange and pink background catches my eye the most but I love them all.
I absolutely adore them all but I think my favourite by a whisker is the monochrome blue. This is strange cause I usually prefer really bright colours but that blue one just sings to me! Fab video, thank you! xxx
It's hard to choose a favorite. All very lovely creations. If I had to pick a favorite, though, the one with purple in it...and really only because I love to see purple in a night sky. :) Thanks for the tutorial. I found it helpful.
Thank you so much for the tips and tricks. My ink blending has improved so much after watching this and trying some samples. Love the one with the pink--reminds me of the sunsets I saw in Hawaii.
In order...blue comes in first. Then the lavenders and finally the orangey one. I’ll always lean towards blues. I love watching you blend backgrounds. Cool cards.
They are all three gorgeous, so it really is hard to choose, but I think I like the blue/pink/blue the best. I have seen sunsets with that beautiful orange and pink color combination, so it's kind of a toss up between the two. The monochromatic is pretty, but I think the colorful ones make me happier when I look at them!
Thanks for your design comments. It helps to know things like why or how things are grouped together on a card. In general, I loved this video showing me how to use many of the tools I have in my stash.
Thank you so much! I truly appreciate this comment. I never realized how much I don't talk about the "why" factor. I don't know art terminology but I'm going to try my best to explain things better. This was my first attempt at explaining the "why" so thank you so much for noticing. So glad you enjoyed the video.
Mindy - these were gorgeous cards! I love the blues especially! Would you consider sharing how you make your ink splotch samples on the various card stocks you use? 🤗
These cards are right up my alley! I love tropical cards! I don’t use this technique enough. I need to make some cards like these. They’re really stunning! I can’t choose a favorite. I truly love them all! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much! I'm so happy you enjoyed and if you have instagram be sure to tag me. I would love to see them! I have my social media links listed in the description :-) Happy crafting!
Just beautiful! And I love the highlight in the center of the water! No favorites... I love them all! Want to try that today as it’s going to rain all afternoon . 💕🙋♀️🌴
It’s so fun to change the total ‘mood’ of a card by just changing your color choices. What a wonderful example of this. Love this clean card, Mindy. Your videos are soo good, TFS! 💖
I think the monochromatic one at the end is my favorite, just because of the highlight you achieved in the middle of the water. The blending just looks ultra-smooth, and I just really like it. Thank you for sharing, Mindy. Take care, & have a wonderful day! :)
Just beautiful!! My favorite is the second one, with the blues and pinks. The first one is great, the yellow/green looks like a reflection of a sunset. The all-blue is also wonderful, it looks like night is falling. Maybe it's my eyes, but there seems to be a light line of pink on the horizon line, which looks amazing!
I just happened upon your channel....beautiful cards ! Thanks for sharing your ink blending technique and giving me the inspiration to make some cards like this. Have a great day...cheers from Ontario, Canada
How can we pick?!?! They are so beautiful! I think maybe the night time one with purple, but that was a very tough choice! I love your cards Mindy, thank you x
Yes, all are my favorite! You have inspired me, I have the tropical sunset stamps, and what an awesome design you have made! I have just a few Gina k inks, so, my sunsets wont be as beautiful, or bright, but wow Mindy, what beautiful cards you have created! I'll be digging that stamp set out! Stay safe. 🌴🐬🐚
Oh Mindy, I cannot choose which is my favorite!! I was looking at each one trying to decide but you chose great color combos for each card! I love them ALL!!! Love the simple clean look, great job!!
Mindy these are beautiful! I can’t pick a favorite because I love them all!! I have a similar stamp set from Altenew currently on my desk and I can’t wait to make some cards with it! Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you! I know it's so hard to choose that's why I did all three. If you have Instagram I would love for you to tag me - I would love to see! My social media links are listed in the description area.
These are all so beautiful that I don't think I can pick a favorite. What are the colored clips you have attached to your blender brushes at the top of the handle to denote the color used with that brush?
When I tried to recreate these cards, the black silhouette got lighter in the places it overlapped the inks underneath. Could it be because i didn't let the bottom ink dry first?
yes, I would suggest letting it dry a little before stamping the second time or hitting it with a heat tool a little. Make sure your ink blend is dry as well. A couple other things to think about is making sure your image is conditioned well. I had stamped with mine a few times before doing it on video. Hope these suggestions help!
Hello! Do you mean for watercoloring? The Amalgam ink is for sure and I believe others has experimented with other colors and I've heard those are too but I haven't tried it myself
The left side one with summer and the beautiful purple shade is stunning!
somehow this old video showed up on my playlist, and I LOVED watching you color blends. This never gets old to me and I could watch over and over. These cards are just beautiful..
Glad you enjoyed it!

You bring me Sunshine, but they're all amazing!
Beautiful blending, I love GinaK ink minis....tropical sunsets...WOW!
They are all so beautiful but I’m drawn to the rainbow one. 🤗🤗
I really love the one with the yellow in it and I think the green was a happy accident as it looks like a reflection of the sun on the water! Beautiful.
I absolutely love the all blue skies. But it's really close between all three. Going to have note these color combinations. They all turned out stunning! Thanks for sharing.

You bring me sunshine is my favorite! Love all the backgrounds ...

All 3 cards are gorgeous. My fav is the middle one. Having that tiny bit of yellow in with the sea glass ink was perfect. Sun on the water you know. ;) Thanks for sharing.
They are all beautiful, but the Sunshine card stands out. Thank you so much for sharing!

Love them all, but the first is my favorite, because it looks like the setting sun reflected on the water
that reflection really does add a little magic to the whole scene doesn't it? SO glad you enjoyed it!
The purple 😍
That one is pretty striking :-)
These are beautiful, I can' t wait to try it! I think I like the blue one best, but I love them all.

I love all the cards but "You Bring Me Sunshine" is my favorite with the pinks and yellows!
I think the monochromatic one at the end is my favorite, just because of the highlight you achieved in the middle of the water. The blending just looks ultra-smooth, and I just really like it. Thank you for sharing, Mindy. Take care, & have a wonderful day! :)

Mindy those are beautiful. So glad I found your channel. Could you tell me where did you get those colored clips for your brushes? Thanks for sharing
Thank you! They are from an etsy shop www.etsy.com/shop/MakeItbyMarko?ref=shop_sugg
These are all so beautiful that I don't think I can pick a favorite. What are the colored clips you have attached to your blender brushes at the top of the handle to denote the color used with that brush?
They are little clips that I got from Make It By Marko. They have an etsy shop :-)
Thank you!
You're welcome!
The one with the pink.
Oh, PS...love ALL the cards, but if I must choose, I go with the blue, monochromatic scene.
Thank you so much!
the blue on blue
That monochromatic really hits the sweet spot! :-)
Too hard to pick, love them all
Do you know if the Gina K. inks are waterproof?
Hello! Do you mean for watercoloring? The Amalgam ink is for sure and I believe others has experimented with other colors and I've heard those are too but I haven't tried it myself
You can buy blank stencils and make your own masks!!
You totally could but this is much easier and quicker for me :-) I'm more of a convenience type of of crafter lol
