- With the release of "A Quiet Place: Day One", we were shown the ruthlessness of the death angels, living up to their name and destroying everything in their path. With their armored plating, it seems that they're invincible with the military throwing everything they had at them, only for the death angels to survive unscathed. With their immense power and speed, who can stop them? As they crash land onto Skull Island, will they survive?

Death angels are really annoying to scale because their durability is too ridiculous it kinda hinders there matchup material imo but if this is 70s skull Island nothing can kill them but if your using adult Kong im confident he could kill them than
To be honest I don’t think death angels can survive a nuclear bomb or tank shells but any bullets weapon they can survive so only the titanus kraken titanus camazotz and adult kong can bet an army of them but if this is just 1 or three death angels then they would stop at the big one SKULLCRAWLER or teenager kong so it depends

@Goji-C that plus the fact that their durability and scaling makes no sense given that their solf and squishy insides would logically be liquefied by the Shockwaves and energy destruction regardless of how tough their armor is.

I bet if they got in the wrong hands majority of the death angels would get overwhelmed from the sounds and die. Although their strengths vary completely, sure they're able to survive planet explosions but other explosions may make them weak due to the force of being thrown around (if their heads are open and hit the rigth direction it may break somehting important but idk I'm going off track)

Such consistency. Damn the writing after the first movie got wonky. I always felt the implication of the first movie was that the Death Angels' overrunning much of the USA was more due to sheer numbers and impracticality of killing them with small arms and most bombs either wouldn't do enough damage or just be impractical to aim at them. This is just what happens when folks writing aren't really caring for consistency, just thrills.

Didn't Ramarak ignore people firing at him with a plane gun,showing the resistance of skull crawlers,yes he's bigger but if a death angel gets between the jaws of a skull crawler or their tail and the ground it's game over , they're insides are too soft
@@liamborg41325 problem is they would get smothered pretty quickly if they tried that. The whole trope of jumping inside something and cutting it up from the inside really doesn't work in practice.
@@Tarbtano true but skull crawlers also have a very ear piercing screech, which could definitely disable death angles since they opened up to a bloody hearing aid , ain't no way a high pitched hearing aid does more ear damage than a skull crawler roar(I always need to lower the volume of my TV only when skull crawlers roar cos it's so high pitched, imagine a death angel
As op as the deah angles are shown to be in the film, i can't get around my suspension of disbelief regarding them.
If they have such soft insides, there's no way they could survive half the things they did. Regardless of how tough their armor is, the energy distribution would still pass through and melt their insides (there's a reason why it's still super painful to be shot even with bullet proof armor).
Another thing is, if they survive for thusands to millions of year in the cold airless vacuum of space, how on earth could they drown? That makes no sense whatsoever.
And even ignoring those, i find it too hard to believe the military could lose to these things. We see that the people were able to figure out that they hunt by sound since day one, so how could the military not take advantage of this and wipe them out?
The military has access to plenty of loud and high frequency weapons (many being strong enough to drive away us humans who have way inferior hearing than the death angels). If this was realistic, the military would be able to wipe these things out in like a couple of weeks.
I get your points lol, I’ve wondered the same myself, the shockwave of the energy traveling through their bodies should liquify their insides, especially from slamming into earth, and they drown despite surviving space. They defy common sense I guess 🔥

For the kaiju, it's taken as if that's how tough they overall are, and they don't have something such as their insides been so solf that a human can stab through and kill them easier than they could with a dog.
And about black panther, while he would also have the problem of being a vulnerable human under his suit, it's at least made believable with how vibranium works. vibranium isn't just a super tough metal, it actually absorbs and gets rid of the kinetic energy of the blunt attack (or at least that's how I remember, you can search it up). Plus, black panther is not shown something as unbelievable as surviving a nuke (at least in the MCU, he may have done some crazy stuff in the comics that I don't know) in fact he has been fazed way less.

Death angels are a *NIGHTMARE* to scale.
But here’s the thing. We don’t know what they did.
MAYBE their armors looked a lot stronger before burnout.
Yet… In day one there’s one in the background that just slams into the ground and dies. Strong armor doesn’t mean strong insides. If they get thrown across the island their organs are going to splat.

People keep talking about their armor. As if blunt force trauma or piercing force is the only way to attack them.
King would grab them and pull them apart. Being able to stop puncturing of a sharp or fast moving object does not mean the plates of armor themselves could not be separated.
They’re shown to be soft on the inside. Meaning if enough force is exerted that soft part their hard armor is adhered to could get separated. Even the young king we see in the first movie could easily destroy them. He’s significantly bigger. Much stronger, and has shown to have ridiculous durability.
It’s only a matter of numbers. Obviously if he got swarmed by tens of thousands he’d probably lose. But a few dozen? Easy. Maybe even a hundred.
Big Kong we see in Godzilla vs Kong and the newest movie could easily take on thousands.
The thing is people in the comments are complaining about the inconsistency of the angels armor which I also question
From what ive read they say the angels planet exploded and survived
They also say that their insides are hard but that doesn't explain Why they could easily be killed by an axe to the open head

Ill also apply that the only reason animals roar is not only for intimidation but also so that the sound they make could pierce through and paralyze their prey
And i also agree with you that just because they're bullet proof doesn't mean they're immune to crushing and decapitation by pulling by big giant monsters that could easily lift tons however i do agree that Kong could die but when its Godzilla i doubt it
So its either bad writing or their head is the only weak spot for a regular human to kill them but i dont think that applies to some of the creatures in skull island including godzilla and other alpha class Kaiju

None of the Death Angels' defenses are more powerful than their plot armor.
IRL, the US military and even some police units already have high frequency sound based crowd control devices that are designed to disperse hostile crowds by making them flee feeling like their skin was on fire.
I can only imagine the kind of abject agony that would be for the Death Angels to experience, you could clear most of a city by just forming a perimeter and then blasting the sonic weapon while closing the circle towards the city center.
Nevermind how anti armor weaponry would be able to pulp their organs even through force transfer alone, there's a reason getting punched in the head hard enough can cause a concussion and it ain't because your skull happened to open up there for the other guy to directly punch your brain.
The best case scenario for these things is if it takes enough force to turn them into a pink goo container that the big bois have to focus attention on them one at a time to kill them, but considering the absolutely insane kinds of forces the titans can call upon just as a matter of biological processes, Ghidorah could probably fry every last one of them on Skull Island by just flying over considering he brings the fury of zeus with him everywhere he goes and can absolutely take the fuck you time needed to fry every last one of them he can find.
Edit to Add: Also Shin Godzilla, ignoring how he'd eventually adapt sonic weaponry, the humans barely managed to stop him before he achieved a new phase of evolution that was basically spawning death angels cross bred with the muscle and armored titans from attack on titan.

I like to think that most likely they'd adapt and learn to determine the creature sound and which they can take on vs what they can't.
Like, they'll recognize a bigger and stronger creature's sounds and they'll hide (going against their instinct of going towards the sound).

Given what happens to their insides shows they have a very tough exoskeleton but are indeed vulnerable. They are incredibly durable to impacts and crushing force but with a squishy inside. Kong could literally pull them apart limb from limb. Same reason a bug with an very tough exoskeleton is difficult to crush but child's play for us to pull the limbs off of.

Not very long. Most can take blows from Kong who can crush a HEAV which can take an entire planets worth of gravity.

His armor is even stronger than theirs. He’s never been shown to get remotely hurt to conventional means. His atomic breath would vaporize them. It’s significantly stronger and hotter than renetry of a meteor. They would get cooked alive. And the radiation likely would destroy the soft fleshy bits inside.
The only thing they could do is crawl up his butt and eat him from inside. If they go through his mouth they get atomic breathed too.

Each time the alien chest bursts out of a new monster the aliens get stronger. Slowly they will work their way up the food chain, with each chest burster taking on the attributes of the next strongest creature.

Since even if this is skull island, Godzilla who is a protector of earth and nature, would probably sense this and go to skull island and then seeing everything dead might enrage him, even if he sees kong dead he would probably still be pissed and he might be able to destroy them all.

@@Vandarky My only thought that could explain why they need to avoid larger bodies of water is the sheer amount of noise that exists, every movement or current would make noise causing confusion in where the sound is coming from.
I mean the water could of overfilled their lungs and made it impossible to breath- like if a predator is panting in a chase and gulps a lot of water they gonna choke. It might be with the same case for this - i'm jsut trying to rationalise things so I don't mind having a little argument about this I agree completely

Given the sheer size of something like Kong and a fair few of the Skullcrawlers, barring these things don't attract Big G's attention which, they absolutely would if they're elsewhere on the planet. Then the roars from the titans would alone, be enough to kill these suckers out right. Size and power of the titans would finish off any stragglers.

What I can’t understand is how they survived the meteor crash because I’m sure the collision against earth would create very loud sounds, possibly more than what the death angels could handle.
What doesn’t make sense with the death angels is how they survived probably weeks on a rock in space but immediately drown☠️
I think Kong's roar would be their worst enemy. But imagine while kong was snoring while sleeping and those death angels hears the snoring and enters kong's head through nose or ear. It might cause to Kong's death but Kong roars as loud as he can and most of them dies from Kong's roar.Some of them survives but nothing would be able to stop the surviving ones from causing extinction at the island.
They don't die to loud noises they only get incapacitated for I, while if a HIGH frequency noise is played.

The helicopter scene made me think they look like bugs from a distance, Now I think they are what happened when a bug is porpotionally strong to their size.
The durability of the death angels is ridiculous, the writes didn't know how to make them land on earth so they gave them skin harder than saitamas teeth, it's just too unfair and I wouldn't use them in a what if situation 😔😤

While kind of cool, the Death Angels aren't well thought out. If they attack anything that makes a sound then they would continually attack waterfalls. If they can hear a whisper from a mile away, they can hear your heart beat when standing next to you. If a shot gun can kill it when it's shell is open then, while a M50 or bomb may not damage it's shell, the engery from bomb's explosion and gun fire will transfer from it's shell into it's organs, killing it. All the military had to do was set up speakers on a helicopter out on the middle of nowhere and drop bombs on them. If bombs can't kill them then, even with it's shell open, neither will a shot gun. Do they explain what evolutionary advantage stopping all sound gets them?
5:50 It depends, the Skullcrawlers are also very agile, fast for their size and have a very insane resistance to wounds (Ramarak having his throat open and still fighting) There are also many,And even though they are not armored, let's take into account that the weapons/claws of the Angels of Death are sharp but we do not take into account the thickness of the Skullcrawlers' skin, It would be a pitched war between the Angels of Death and the Skull Demons.
I don't see them surviving more than 5 seconds with Kong, Skulldevils and any other strong kaiju on the Island

If you think about it if the death angels were the apex predators of their planet what did they haft to hunt to develop that kind of armor and the less likely thing is that the aren’t the apex predators and something even stronger hunts them which is why they are hyper aggressive to any noise not made by them

Absolute sweep, they could probably even take out the King Titan with the numbers we see in Day One. They don't just tank a lot of damage like a Giga; they are fully immune and apparently none of Earth's technology could take them down.
The HEVs were specially designed to deal with the gravity, so their durability shouldn’t be that high.

So, I don't know how they established that the death angels couldn't swim...in the very first movie? They literally had a scene where one was slinking around in water...I get they are too heavy to actually swim, but since they obviously don't need air to survive? They would just sink to the bottom and root around down there until they eventually made it back to shore...and who knows how their hearing system would work underwater...I assume something that sensetive could hear things under water....even still, the water dwelling animals would probably eventually run into the ones that made it into the water and are too territorial to ignore another predator invading it's spot

Godzilla could probably nuke them all with his atomic breath. Kong would have to hide out in the hollow earth or (if the death angels arrived after the events of the new empire) he could use shimo's ice powers to freeze them all before smashing them to death. Ghidorah could BBQ them to death with his gravity beams had he still been alive. Mecha-g's proton scream could probably melt them had he not been turned to scrap. Rodan could probably melt them being a flying lava ball. Maybe the M.U.T.O's could capture them and store as a food resource for their babies (had godzilla not made them extinct). The other titans I'm not so sure what they bring to the table but I'm sure they could find creative solutions for dealing with their new unwelcome visitors. maybe in short all of the radiation that the titans and super fauna might give maybe just maybe have the power to seep through their armor poisoning them from the inside out.
some people theorize that they only reacted to sound because its the resonating frequency of their armor, if that's true than sound itself is not a weapon against them.

So if they sink to the bottom of the sea and don’t drown, can’t they walk underwater until they get to the shore to get out or can’t they “jump” once they reach the bottom of the water?
