Lessons from this insightful podcast:
1. Technicals 10% + 90% Psychology.
2. Risk management is the key.
3. No magic strategy exists.
Simple strategies like EMA crossovers work.
4. You are fighting against an emotionless system. Stop-loss is a personal thing many times. It's a risk management tool and not a purely technical thing. So don't fight with the market aka system.
5. Learn from personal mistakes. Unique problems can't be solved in generic way. Identify your problem and work on it.
6. Diversify when you earn. Liquidity is volatile. So when you earn think less volatile asset.
7. Don't get distracted by online influencers. Because its not a whole picture.
8. Market prepares you in during your loss phase. Resilience matters when you use your learnings. Experience you don't use is negligence. Write down your mistakes and review periodically.
9. Doubt the thing most people are doing. Don't run with crowd.
10. Start Work with one lot. Atleast for 2 months. Learn and then only expand. Take Profit whenever market gives or you earn from it.
11. Try option buying and learn with option selling with one lot to understand whole game.
12. Price action is the crux.
13. Build mindset of consistent learner.
14. Job gives you security. Think job as a security and not as burden.

Great video, some learning points,
1. Never fight against the market.
2. If trade goes against you, gracefully accept it and move on.
3. Never trade when you are in negative emotional zone.
4. First learn, then take baby steps and develop a repeatable system or set up wait for yor system the right signal then trade.
5. Never over trade.
6. Always have fixed Stop loss mark, before you enter the trade.
7. Have a mentor.
8. Market is very dynamic one strategy never work in all the conditions. Have multiple strategies suiting to the maket conditions.

Some things to take away from this amazing conversation
1. Keep fighting in your bad times
2. Be emotionless while trading, learn who you are, study what you are, apne aap se jhoot mat bolo
3. Dont be afraid of your parents. Stand up to them.
4. Focus on Quality over Quantity
5. Be patient in the market
6. Write down your errors and put them on the wall.
7. Remain humble. Market always has its hands on your balls
8. No work is small work. Reapect all work.

Sir, I entered in Market in 2008 and stopped trading in 2009. Again I entered in 2019 before COVID 19 and made a loss of 22L than stopped trading. Than took paused about 06 months and started learning of Technical analysis and Fundamental Analysis and finally come to know it's a market of illusions but One needs to visualize opposite to crowds. Than I arranged a capital of 10L once than slowly slowly adding some more capital. Finally in last one year recovered 25% of loss. Finally understand it's not T-20 cricket match. Hence we needs to settle down on pitch about 15 to 20 over than I can reach near to century in next 10 to 15 years. Only needs patience and understanding market as season. My Story fully matching with you.
Helpful video for beginners and less experienced traders like me.. jo bhi mistakes sir ne bataya wo absolutely correct hai but jab trade me hote hain tab live market me wo kuch bhi yaad nahi rah pata ... but still trying to control emotions in live market... Me being success in the option market wasn't planned, I had an ugly beginning in my early days of trades. But today I'm a true definition of grace, Mr Ramakrishna has never failed me since the day I started investing with him.
Everything was superb in this interview. But he should have avoided passing comments on Ghanshyam Ji.
Why Ghanshyam ji is being so popular because he does his work with honesty and he does not make any comments to other youtubers.

I can relate this to myself..i started in sep 2020 and gradually started investing my savings into stocks and within 1 yr earned approx 3 lakh.. during this i use to book my profit at 8-10% gain. But then I realised the stocks i started with have multiplied 2-3 times and I gained only 30-40 % so I thought to hold my investments and enjoyed unrealised profit of 40-50% in multiple stocks but kept on holding it.
And then the market turned back, my major investment was in IT, Russia Ukraine impact and situation got worst...my portfolio turned from +4.5 lakh to minus 7.5 lakh...and still struggling to recover it. .. during last financial year, on investment of 30lakh i just earned 70 lakh and booked loss of around 3 lakh.

मुझे खुद के लिए बहुत साफ स्पष्ट समझ आया कि मुझे सिर्फ एक लॉट से ही ट्रेडिंग करनी है अगले सौ दिन...सौ दिन में सौ प्रतिशत की कैपिटल ग्रोथ नहीं कर पाया तो मैं अपने आप को और 200 दिन तक सिर्फ एक लॉट से ही ट्रेडिंग करूँगा। और इसी तरह आगे चलता रहेगा, पर मार्किट से अपने 2008 वाले 28 लाख का लॉस रिकवर करना है और इस बार वाले 6 लाख का लॉस भी रिकवर करना हैं

sir aaj mai ye video pure 5 months ke bad dekh raha hu lakin jo aapne abhi kaha ke trade 1 lot se kar sahi hai kyu ki maine aaj se 10 din pahle trading kar raha hu , pahle mai 5 lot se trade karta tha to profit kam or loss jyda laki jab loss hokar capital kam bacha to mai ek lot se karne laga 2-3 , 1 lot se trade karne ke bad maine paya ke ab losse ka or profit jyada ho gya hai , ab mai agle 3 months tak sirf 1 lot se he trade karunga or ek bat mai phle over trading v karta tha jis se bahoot jyada brokrage dena padta ha lakin ab mai limited trade leta hu or ek accha profit kar raha hu

I used to watch STL ki videos in 2020 when I started trading, have seen his motivational videos jisme he talks about his own life and ups and downs, was very motivated with it. I was not able to understand his style of trading hence left listening to him long back. But I have thoroughly enjoyed this podcast listening to the failures and bouncing back from them!
I was glued throughout while watching this podcast. Lovely. I believe he is not criticizing any one but just teaching us to believe in yourself rather than anyone.
