The stupidest thing is that Tarot was around WAY before nightwish and Marco has always had an epic voice. I have to admit i wouldnt know about Marco without NW, but he is one of the most versatile musicians around today.

I discovered Tarot by first hearing 'I Walk Forever' I had no idea that Marco was in this bad till I heard his voice in the song, great band I love this band :) As you could tell I am a huge fan of Nightwish too aha :)

@Rosie1700 Metal came from Blues Rock, which came from Rock and Roll, which came from Rhythm and Blues (R&B). Metal evolved from R&B, so by dissing R&B you diss metal.
TBH, I find only listening to certain genres to be a bit childish. I listen to these guys, they're obviously talented. I also listen to Marilyn Manson. But then, I listen to Skrillex and deadmau5. Does that really make me a horrible person? Music is Art, and art often carries a message. Why only listen to a certain format of msg?
I always thought that power metal is speed fast has lighter, speed composition. Tarot don't use much fast percusion. They have a ot of heavy slower riffs. It's HEAVY METAL

i was listening Niwghtwish for that opera/symphonic metal style they had with Tarja.i don' like listening pop metal..if anete can sing the songs of Tarja almost perfectly,which i doubt she can with that pop vocal range,why they made instrumental cd with anete?i don't remember they made any with Tarja

Tarot is far from Symphonic. This song exhibits elements of it mostly because that's where Finnish metal as a whole is going. Even Sonata Arctica shows small traces. Nobody is as symphonic metal as Nightwish, but the elements are becoming popular.

You completely misunderstood my point here. I like both Nightwish and Tarot, both Nightwish eras, yes. But it's just so disrespectful that people bring their "criticism" on Anette and Tarja in here. I mean, they're not even there! People really should start to get over it and just enjoy what they see, which now is Tarot. Period.
New Nightwish is much better then old and Old Nightwish is better then Tarot.
However I love Tarot.

I hate it when people try to sound high and mighty with shit like "every style of music is good, only different." Blablabla... Commercial driven pop, R&B, hip-hop and etc. is repetitive, unoriginal bullshit only promoted because of its (unintelligible) commercial success, not because of its "artistic value" or "deep philosophical message". This is not art, its greed. The very same greed that destroyed art in music in the first place.
