I think he should be drafted in 2nd - 3rd realistically. Keon Coleman is similar player who runs a 4.6 and i see Coleman with more separation and hes borderline 1st rd guy who prob is better place in rd 2. I would draft Nabers, Harrison, Thomas, and Leggette over Odunze in a second
@@pauliej345 He runs a sub 4.4 40 at 6'3 212. That's elite for his size. I was skeptical until we drafted him but I'm anymore. All around good at everything and elite at splash plays, contested catches, and route running. The WR1 in most drafts will be really good with the potential to be elite.
@michaelehaddad2659 he ran 4.45 at his pro day where guys usually run better then the combine. He just doesn't separate well at all. I do think with Moore , Allen, and Kmet he's in a good place to get a lot of 1on1s with smaller nickel corners which should help his game until he learns to run routes better
Nabers wins at all 3 levels and even utilizes his speed with YAC, he’s still learning how to shake defenders with his route running, he has a chance to be the best out of the 3
I would love to see a point by point side by side comparison between Harrison and Odunze. I honestly don't think there is much that Harrison is objectively better at than Odunze. Similar size, speed, athleticism, ball tracking, yac, etc.

You have the Giants at 6 who have the Plaxico situation, OBJ shenanigans, DeAndre Baker, Toney. The media doesnt want us to be surprised when the Giants finally get wise to avoid problem people.
Why is all the talk about separation when there are numerous ways WRs could be useful and good in the nfl. Like leap into the air to take the ball out of the sky in the back corner of the end zone is just as important today, or no? Isnt that a way that Odunze could translate into the nfl quite easily? Guess it is just me thinking of other ways a wr can be dominant besides speed or separation and seeing that in Odunze I think he will be pretty good out of the gates and also has room to improve. I think certain teams would benefit from Nabers more. And vice versa The Giants have a very short nfl wr room imo. They have basically a 6 ft room that isn't about going up and getting contested big catches. And probably won't have a qb that can zip that it into the extra yard of separation window for an easy completion. That team would benefit from Odunze more imo. At the end of the day, any team that gets to draft the top 3 of MHJ Nabers Odunze, will be ecstatic
It is fair to say that Odunze's absence of stellar separation could get him to fall into the teens a little bit. I find it hard to believe there's 3 teams inside the top 10 willing to use their pick on a WR. Odunze is the clear odd man out because contested catch guys who have separation concerns historically have bigger bust potential. I like Odunze, but he needs to turn his concern into a strength. I know he can separate and has all the cutting ability to be a great route runner, but I think he plays a little too finesse for his size with a, as you said, fairly basic understanding of route running. I want to see him use his hands more to create separation during routes. He currently only uses his hands to separate at the last second. You have to constantly manage the DBs hands or he'll be there grabbing all game long. He let's DBs hand guard and anchor onto him without contest. He runs routes like he's a 4.3 guy, when he's just a 4.45 guy. Give him some Michael Thomas and Demaryius Thomas tape and let him grow into playing bigger on his routes. Those guys never let DBs put hands on them without a fight. RIP to a legend.
While true, you quite simply can’t draft Nabers over MHJ. With the consensus around MHJ, if he flops, it’s just bad luck. If you take Nabers at WR1, and he flops, the ridicule you’ll face for being an idiot will ruin you as a GM forever.

Rome for sure. He played in an nfl pro offense and his game translates more to the nfl. Doesn’t run by every single defender (which you never will in the nfl unless your Tyreek) and is still effective
It's impossible to say who will be better... But Rome played in the Pac-12. Doesn't touch the SEC. Nabers created space against better defenses. Rome is going to be an excellent possession receiver. But you still need to create space at the next level

Harrison is NFL ready. Nabers still has a few things to learn. Also MHJ faced more double teams. He always had a safety bracketing over him.
