- Finally finished this, originally was suppose to come a lot sooner but personal life and other stuff got in the way so apologizes. Anyways, Sparta Remix is a very old meme dating all the way back to 2007, in this video I will cover how the meme first started and how it's turned into a community with it's fair share of ups and downs. Hope you enjoy this, put some time into this. I'm not a perfect human so this probably has some mistakes and stuff, so feel free to correct me :) I'll make sure to add those in, in like a pinned comment or something at least?

Oh cool, my base was used in this video.
Also, there were anti accounts way before the first one you've mentioned. But instead of being called anti-[username], it's [username]isgay. And they usually had a remix with a source (like TF2) sentence mixed so the characters say "[username] is gay," and the base they used is the unextended base, but pitched an octave up. I believe they were a thing around 2008 - 2011, if I'm not mistaken. Although I think this was such an obscure and short-lived thing in the community that it was basically a blip and wasn't worth mentioning in the video.
Pretty good video nonetheless. I've learned new things. Maybe I should try out that Sparta Remix Studio thing.

when i started doing remixes, i was 13 years old, in 2016. i never knew i got into the community in a dark year, man. and i hope sparta remix don't die. i'm still making my part as a remixer, trying to make frequency with them and stuff.
and damn, i wanted to be on 2020 sendoff now. i hope 2027, the 20 year anniversary of sparta remix, could be a special year for all of us.
and congrats for the video, man. i'd never though that someone would literally explain what is sparta remix, how did it started, etc.

Sparta Remixes are going to continuously evolve with these new unique styles and ideas people come up with every year. Let's enjoy it until it officially ends whenever that may be. Even though, some people might still be making them every once in a while for fun. (Me probably being one of them lol)

Used to be a sparta remixer back in 2015. I was 10 when I first got into sparta remixes, so seeing this video today made me feel nostalgic. I left sparta remixing back in 2018 because the channel I used to upload sparta remixes was dead, so I had to delete it. Thanks for making a video about this, I think sparta remixes might last a bit longer, but who knows. Great video though!

as someone who's been in the community since 2015 (i was 7, believe me when i say it) this is a really nice throw back to those dark golden years! i felt like this would be a lil cooler if you went more indepth to any remixers' history or drama back then, and even a few cameos or interviews! it probably sounds a little too far fetched but some inclusion and insight could make things a little more clearer in a way.

Ive watched remixes sense 2012 and been making remixes for nearly 7 years I’m glad i make these things. They are fun and i always loved music since i was little and all of this helped me with making music. :)
To be honest, I always knew this community was toxic but never knew what was the reason. I use to know one friend who done these types of videos but errr, they might of stop it after a while, not too sure. Also yeah it's true that every community has a dark awful side but I mean, what can you do about it? And how do you fight over a music remix anyways? I really don't understand that part.

everyone's been taking the fun out of it recently, and its mostly the people who say SRs are "dead" or "you have to stick with modern standards". and really it sucks, it drove even some people to permanently quit because of this.

although i was slightly known during the quack addict era, i've always stayed aloof from the community. i was unaware of 90% of the history described here, but that might've been good bc i prioritized other things! i never learned modern techniques along with everyone else. i haven't progressed along with the rest, so i hope these "modern standards" don't actually exist bc ytpmv in general is meant to be a fun hobby and should be treated as such lmao

As a retired sparta remixer 2018-2021, It was fun while it lasted.
That’s why I joined the Sparta remix in 2019 (but not 2016 that I played with mugen) cause it’s my memories with play dance with my brother to all the Sparta ultimateparison with my really old iphones. Yeah, my favorable ones that l Iike overused to listen music of sparta remix to use my earplugs all day when I was a childhood. That was with my story that I never heard of sparta remix history on the internet. I didn’t know about this community in 2007 it was so close I was born in 2006 with my mom. So I did my old channel making crappy Sparta remix videos when I was 11 to use a bandicam. if people gets so confused about my old channel, that’s why I making mugen and ytp videos sucks when my old channel gets terminated in 2018. Thank god I left mugen and ytp community cause I’m being such a idiot for this. but for now on, I used Vegas and fl studio to make a improved with Sparta remix of bit (But I will do the more improvements in future soon…). For doing anything of my business to do practice on my RUclips channel with making more videos for good.

It's so weird learning that Sparta remix was a YTMND, I was both too young and my family didn't have the internet until like 2010, so for me it was a series of youtube memes and flipnotes, and I didn't even know what YTMND was until Whang introduced it to me, so this is sort of a plot twist to me lol
Tbh, in a good way I am really surprised that the things I had made still remained in the discord server or are still used by others (I did the SR discord profile icon in Photoshop by putting gradient overlay effects over a cartoon Sparta cape image given to me found by a SR friend).
I genuinely thought that users would have outgrown the pfp I made for the server, but I guess it's the fact that I made it colorful and in good quality explains why it remained.
This may be unrelated to the Meme but this reminds me of the sr wiki as well, because the SR Encyclopedia still has the same colors I last applied (before I adopted the SR wiki in December 29 2017, the wiki looked dark red and dark yellow, so I made the wiki look yellowish orange because that's the colors I envisioned for the appearance of Sparta Remix Encyclopedia, formerly the Sparta Remix Wiki).
Regarding the Sparta Remix meme, I am glad with the evolution It has gone through over time (referring to the meme turning from gif comedy videos to video musicals gradually).

Also I've been making remixes since I was 8 years old in 2017, and now I'm 15 and nothing's ever changed. I'm surprised that community has grown this way, however I try to stay out of certain toxicity and I mainly only chat with a small group of my friends.

as Pixitracker user for Sparta remixes, I can confirm that a lot of Sparta kids are complete idiots but the reason why I use Pixitracker is due to not having a computer for Sony Vegas, so till then I'm stuck with Pixitracker

2016 was so funny because i was the reason people started using pixitracker for remixes im pretty sure
i found out about pixitracker through an original music video and ive wanted to do sparta remixes for a long long while. so i made (what i think is) the first pixitracker sparta remix and eventually i uploaded a tutorial on how to use custom sounds in remixes, then the rest is history
