I hate how underdesigned samurotts back looks, like the front has alot going on, but the back is like empty space. I feel like he should have more shell armour on and maybe still be standing? I mean, he's supposed to be a samurai. Dewott is defs the best out of the 3.

@@Archonoflogic I should clarify, I've gone from hating it to being kinda meh about it. My biggest issue is that it has two blades on it's legs that it uses... but it's also quadraped. How is it supposed to use the blades if it stands on four legs all the time? Does it occasionally stand on it's hind legs like a bear? The whole thing feels backwards and I still think it would have been better bipedal.

If you saw it in game you'd see that it gets along just fine on four legs. hell I'm even in the 'I like humanoid pokemon' camp and I dont see how it being on 2 legs would solve any logical issue. Whilst samurott is still based on an otter (not really a sea otter like its previous evolutions, it's more like a river otter), it's also based on a sea lion because whilst the designers were having trouble thinking of ways to have samurott be more interesting than just a bigger ninja otter standing on two legs, one of the designers saw how strong the sea lions were at an aquarium were and decided to incorporate it into samurotts design. A lot of people seem to think it came out of nowhere when in reality designing a pokemon is a result of many days of brainstorming
