@Philein BudgetHomes - *I love this design concept. It's PERFECT if one has a spare space in a bigger lot. It can work as a home office away from the main house, or it can serve as a guest house. Though the overall design is nice and the floor design is functional, the only thing I will change in the design is the ladder to the attic/sleeping area. I'd go for folding or retractable stairs that can blend well with the overall aesthetic. Stairs are much easier, convenient, and safer to use than vertical ladders.*

😊I would keep the single twin bed/couch first floor and use attic for seasonal storage. Add enclosed porch in back for washer. Or forget washer and have community laundry for homeless person's who each could have a cabin.
Unless you have easy access to a laundrette you need a washing machine, drying is easy as you just put up a line and hang the items out to dry. Agree about turning it into a community, that is what I would like to do if I could (will never be able to afford it) to give those temporarily down on their luck a step back up again. If you add in gardens to become self sufficient in vegetables with chickens for eggs as well then you are well on your way to a community not unlike the small villages/hamlets of old where you all came together. I would make the building slightly bigger, say 4m x 4m because that way it is easier to fit in a downstairs sleeping area, a tiny kitchen (you can always add a pantry/larder on to one side outdoors) and enough space to work in as well. This is what I am hoping to do for myself (artist and dress maker/designer) and having an attic to store seasonal clothing/bedding etc in would be a great solution to the ever present problem of storage.
Great starter home for a couple and a great place for mom amd dad once the kids are all grown.

Nice design and perfect for glamping or for AirBnb transient stays. Iniisip ko lang po kung paano nailagay yung kama dun sa attic. Hehe. Di ko talaga siya maisip kung pano. Haha! Pero very nice and great use of space! I would want one of these in the future. 😊

I bought an acre of land out in the woods on which was a n all cedar cabin, 11 by 12 feet. Has a loft. We added a covered deck/porch of the same size. It has two corners on loft level. It was someone's summer cottage-in-the-woods. We added insulation battery-powered electrical a separate bathhouse for our uber tiny antique bathtub. rainwater water supply. Perfect!

This is exactly what I have imagined!! I would like to find a piece of land to put my own tiny home on (although w/added laundry/pantry area) along w/small stable w/horses, chickens & garden. Then would like to add maybe 2-4 of this design on said property (w/o attic as sofa can pull out to a bed, or those futons that are bunk beds w/full mattress on bottom & twin on top) to start a summer camp for under privileged/foster kids, at no charge. That is my ultimate dream😀😊
I agree about no sleeping loft, use a futon downstairs, but where do you put the closet? That's really the only drawback I notice about this little dwelling. Otherwise I like everything about it, right down to the color scheme. Very nicely done.

It's a nice little space. Things I would change. You don't need a bathroom sink. One sink in the kitchen, especially as it's right outside the bathroom is plenty. Also need an actual set of stairs to the top floor, not a ladder. Solar panels on the top would be a nice addition.

Really lovely home!. Here in Chile they make some really confortable pine houses with a bath, kitchen , etc but they are bigger. They install them in two days and I am planing to have one for relatives who visit us once a year.

I know this is a weird request, but if you had a chance, can you design a 3 by 3 loft with the stairs to the loft safe for dogs to climb. No kitchen, (but if you can squeeze a kitchen that is fine), just a toilet. I'm actually planning to build a house that will be primarily for my dogs but the one that i could also sleep when i want to, or if there are visitors that i will let sleep in my other tiny main home, minimalist and will just put minimal furnitures like bed and a small cabinet for my dog's beds. I stayed in hotel rooms the size about 110 square feet in Japan. They were very clean and convenient. However staying for longer than several days would be stifling.

Tiny homes would be perfect if they had a place for a washer and dryer. But you'd probably have to expand it at least another 100 square feet.

Just read the description & it says $160k!!😱😵 There is NO frigging way that thing cost that much!! I think someone missed a comma when typing. I can see $16k, & even that seems a bit much for 97 square ft (unless the were including the price they.paid for the land??)
