I visited Nova Scotia and Prince Edward’s Island when I was a kid. Beautiful country. Good mix of touring and low key adventure riding that you experienced. Looks like a great ride

Nice video...but...a battle, in 1745, between the English and French? Surely, after 1707, and battles were between the British and French?

Thank you for the positives. You are correct, technically it was a ‘Siege ‘but the date was 1745 and yes it was between the British and the French controlled fort. The full force of the Scot’s arrival in Canada took place following the arrival of the ship ‘Hector’ at Pictou in 1773. All according to “Wiki” Of course the Scots have been leaving Scotland ever since.

@@FitBones I had no issue with your naming the type of engagement - one imperial bloodbath's the same as any other - simply the synonymity of England and Britain. I think 315 years is ample time for educated people to differentiate between the two.
The Scots have been leaving Scotland ever since; there are many valid reasons for that, but it's not just a Scottish phenomenon. The natives of the Dordogne and Costa del Sol would testify to the ubiquity of English cuisine.😉
      Keep up the good work.
