    Why use contact glue for crying out loud?

      - Much more practical and safer
      - Much faster
      - Free of water
      - Perfect for side veneer
      - I use it since 2012
      - Never had any problems with wood adhesion.
      - Never had any problems with finish adhesion.
      What do you use for your Red Specials?

      veneer is very porous, and glue can bleed through it. certain top coats, for example rustins plastic coat reacts to pva glue. so for thin veneers, unless you plan a poly top coat, veneer glue or a contact adhesive are recommended
