Aside from the Peppermill, Bouchon is my favorite restaurant in Vegas. Venetian was the first time I tried slipping the desk agent $50. Ended up in an enormous suite with a bedroom, huge dining room, and living room. I was at a work conference and felt weird staying in a room that big by myself, but it was fun and luxurious.
Hi Chris. Wonderful Venetian Resort review. The room is nice and spacious. It's nice how they separated the sleeping area and living area. by elevating the beds and not putting a wall. I love a place that has a shower and tub. Sometimes you want to take a quick shower and other times you just want to soak and relax in the tub after a busy day. So beautiful how they balanced the old style feeling of the Venetian with the modern look of the Palazzo. Very well done. Pretty good deal for the end of the year. Thanks for sharing and take care.
Hi Chris! We love the Venetian/Palazzo it's our go-to property the last 8-10 years (we typically stay on the Palazzo side of the property). Beautiful resort with great amenities.
Use to go here every year since it was built for our year Surfaces convention and loved how luxurious those rooms were! Also love the shops, as it had the best theming ever in my opinion. More recently, while staying at the Wynn, my second favorite, I discovered the Bouchon Bakery at the Palazzo, where I love to sit with my morning coffee and muffin which I illegally, probably, feed a few sparrows! Also loved the Venetians gelato after the shows, on the way back to my room at night. Thanks for a great tour of this amazing place!
Great review of the Venetian! Venetian is also one of my favorite hotels in Vegas too. Although it’s not that new, but I’m always so impressed with how clean/good condition their rooms are. I stay there at least once a year. Annual free nights with IHg credit cards can be booked at Venetian which is helpful
I appreciate your review of this hotel and I just returned from our stay there! I can agree with you that the walk from parking tower to the room is laborious at best and the check in took a long time. Anything you think you will walk to quickly in the casino or on the strip, add at least 30 minutes! Being July, it was so hot and not having a fridge to put water in was bad. Also there was no place you could get water bottles cheaply so bring your own. The room was amazing and the pull out sofa was great. The Venezia tower is a maze of elevators and hallways and I was lost several times trying to find the pool area. Apparently you have to go on an epic quest across several floors to find these areas! If you have a large family this room will fit you all and in July I paid $150 for the 2 queen bed room. Factor in that $50 resort fee though, that’s a hard one to swallow for an extended stay. Your review was spot on and very helpful!
Everything looks quite fancy and nice! I like that it has practically everything from great rooms to entertainment, shopping, and dining. I feel like I could almost stay in the Venetian the entire time and not get bored!
Great review. I'll be staying at the Venetian this December with my company. The only con for me that I noticed was they didn't have a detachable shower head. I prefer those since it makes me feel cleaner.
Many years ago the Venetian and Palazzo were incredible. If you were flexible you could get a 3 night stay for $50 per night and this was before resort fees. I bought tickets to see Phantom of the Opera one year with my wife at xmas time and they sent me free ticket offers for several years. Those days are long gone. Sad
The fitness center truly is incredible. Although I usually stay at Palazzo, there is an elevator in the canal shoppes that goes directly to into the main Canyon Ranch location. Much quicker than walking all the way to the Venetian elevators.
My family and I have stayed at the Venetian/the Palazzo every trip we went to Las Vegas since I was in 1st grade. I’m very surprised that the Venetian gave you daily housekeeping without you having to ask. When I went with my family during Thanksgiving last year, the Venetian had a policy in place where we had to call housekeeping each day we wanted room service. But yeah, I love how big and vast the Venetian/the Palazzo is.
Amazingly comprehensive! I'm familiar with the Venetian, but had no idea many of these places existed within. The place must be huge! The editing of this video must have been a nightmare - thank you for taking the trouble Chris - we really appreciate it!
For someone that only stays at the venetian 2x a yr for the past 16 yrs somethings make a difference . you stayed at a max rate night but what people need to know is the value you pay is the size room you get . Mid week not new yrs time you can stay here 150 or even 229 a night and for what other hotels offer the room not a hotel on the strip comes close to offer avg sz 670 -750 sq ft . Venetian Tower is easier to navigate then Venezia mainly because the Venezia Tower is a lot quieter and set away from the noise of the Venetian . It is weird that your bathroom didn't have the TV where in the Venetian tower you get tv in the bathrooms and 2 55 in tvs to look at . 55 on wall in front of bed and 55 in on wall in the sunk in living room . Also the couch pulls out to a bed . Palazzo is like Venezia Tower. It is the sister property that is lil more modern but quiet and smaller casino floor then Venetian. Food court .. Johnny Rockets , Popeyes , Chipotle ,Subway and Fat burger on 1st floor .. Plenty of cheap eats and Grand Lux Cafe offers a cheap breakfast but if you want cheaper a short walk to McDonalds will get you McMuffins .. IF you sign up Grazie Rewards playing card and you use your card for your stay of the room the price of your stay earns enough points where you get free parking and you left that out which is very important cuz 18 bucks adds up per stay (7 days is 126 bucks people can save ) ..
Stayed here last summer, it's expensive but for me the best hotel in Vegas that I have stayed at. Only Wynn is better for overall quality of property and amenities. The rooms all being suites is amazing and they even had a phone in the toilet! TV in the bedroom and TV in the living room parts of the suites too. Fantastic food options, and great poker room too.
Nice place. It's been a long time since I've been to Las Vegas. The Venetian does look about the same since the last time I was in there, aside from the usual refurbishing and stores/restaurants closing and being replaced by others. I remember when parking was free on the strip. You could just drive in and out of the parking garages, but no more. Everything else was cheaper too. Your room looked nice, but if one is traveling alone, I wouldn't pick such a large room. I once went to Las Vegas and they said I can have an upgraded room for free. I said OK, but basically it was a big room with extra space. I felt lost in that. A smaller room, with the TV closer to the bed, I felt would have been better.
Surprised my wife and took her there for her birthday April 2021. Room was great and got it for a price of $99 a night plus resort fees on the weekend ! Maybe we stayed at The Palazzo 🤔
I stayed there in July 2024 and I was impressed by the size of the hotel and the facilities. Although the room size and amenities were impressive my impression was the room look tired - the furniture was chipped and appeared worn out. The carpet was worn and frayed and the bathroom was in need of renovation with the shower head partially attached to the wall and the seals around the shower looking dirty and tatty. I don't know - my initial impression might have been better if my first night wasn't interrupted by an intruder who let herself into my room at about 3:00am. I cannot consider this to be a five star hotel - more like a 3.5 star. The amenities such as restaurants and shopping are excellent though and its not a bad place by any standards -just don't expect 5 star because it is not..
I've stayed at 3 other Vegas hotels, and nope, no coffee maker. Some don't even include fridge or microwave. They want you going out, relying on the dining options as much as possible so you spend more. I usually bring a few travel packets of a higher quality freeze-dried instant coffee with me. Not the best, but will work in a pinch.
No. There are very few free hotel shuttles to or from the airport, but Uber and Lyft are plentiful and taxis have flat rates going to/from all resorts in the Vegas resort corridor
Love staying at Venetian. They usually give free entry to Tao for hotel guests if you want to go to a club. They’d allow reentry so we’d go to the club, leave back to our room to drink and then go back to the club and save money.
Say something that helps me, like how much are the hotel fees per day and do you pay for pool towel fees and how crowded do the pool areas get and the night club chances are $$$😮
love the venetian, but they have to do something about the ventilation on their casino floor. the cigarette smoke is thick and chunky and is is so stifling. other than that, we love it!
The Venetian is our only choice in Vegas. You have to be careful, though, once you've discovered room service, it's really, really difficult to leave that amazing room.
Hey Chris - great review as always. Have you stayed on the Palazzo side? Looks similar but Palazzo seems a little snazzier. On my way to Vegas next week, and will be going to Singapore and Bangkok (thanks for those videos - We switched from the Conrad Singapore to the JW on your recommendation) next month. I need you to review the Waldorf Maldives, Athenee Bangkok, and Park Hyatt Siem Reap in the next couple weeks!!!
I haven't yet stayed in a Palazzo room. Maybe next time.... right on.. the JW is really nice in Singapore! Enjoy your trip. Those other hotels sound nice too 😆
The walk to the rooms in the Venezia tower is crazy long. Wear your hiking boots. I'll never let them put me in that tower again. And Chris, you should know better than suggesting people store anything in the mini-bar fridge. That is a no-no and you'll get dinged with a fee if you leave anything in there. Anyway, keep up the great work and we'll see you in your next video! :)

love your videos!
I just had Grimaldi’s yesterday. I used to visit with Patsy Grimaldi back in the early 90’s when I was a Police Officer in that area
Mmmmm! That's some history right there
Best hotel in Vegas
if you like big rooms try the palm springs tennis club (by vri) next time u visit!

I was torn between Paris hotel and this. I wish I choose this one
I love palazzo than Venetian, smaller and as crowded, used to get free room after Covid, they stopped giving free room, and now charge for parking.
I will be staying at the luxer hotel on my next trip. Tower rooms
Stayed there years ago, one of my favorite rooms on the strip, just wish the casino was kinder to me, BTW, I miss the original Topher😔
Aww. I miss the OG Topher too
Very nice 👌
Can you do a review of Caesars Palace? I have a stay there this Spring!
I definitely want to revisit Caesars. Not sure I'll make it back by May though
how would you rank the rooms at : venetian, venezia, palazzo?
First stay 5 stars second stay 2, 3.5 overall. Room was dirty and front desk was difficult. Ownership changed from covid to after and it shows
Bummer
Lovely hotel.
Love The Venetian but it can feel a little too much like Grand Central Station when it’s busy.
It does get busy!
Do you recommend reservations for breakfast at the Grand Lux?
Never hurts to make a reservation for sure
I always thought that bridge was modeled on the Rialto bridge rather than the bridge of sighs

Pretty much no hotels in Vegas offer in room coffee.

Do I need a rental car? Or, can you walk or take train everywhere?
You don't need a rental cat. You can walk, monorail, or bus everywhere

Caesars is definitely worse

Good plan
Its the Rialto Bridge not the Bridge of Sighs
Thanks for the correction
The rooms are great but too steep for my pocket.
I only wish that thay would have a better selection of kosher food in the hotels
