    Interesting van set up. Volvo with trailer. Well im saluting the volvo not being a target for thieves looking for tools and very rare I have room in my van for 8x4 sheets anyway so im also saluting the trailer. 👍

    A bit late to the party but came across this searching for some inspiration on under stairs stuff.
    I'm in the plannings stages of replacing a pallet wood creation I made a couple of years back.
    I'd be interested to hear about what wood was used, looks like mdf 15mm for the cupboard carcass... 12mm for the rest?
    It is also a shame that there isn't any talking since I'd love to know not just what you're doing but why and it'd be great to have that little detail you just can't get from video only.
    10/10 for the end result, I'm only a DIY level but wish me luck when it comes to doing mine later on this year!

    Thanks for the video. I have a similar job to do myself. Can I ask what draw slides you used and what weight they were rated to please? Can I ask how much a job like this would cost to have do also. I think I have been way over quoted. Thank you.

      Hi. I would say anywhere between £1500 - £2000 depending on materials and spec.
      Here is a link to the runners I used:

    Looks cool, but MDF resting on tile that will be wet mopped is trouble.

      Sure it would be if it was to be left as it is. The client will be having it decorated and sealed to the floor and walls, this is pretty standard. Thanks for raising a valid point though 👍🏼

    Great job and thanks for sharing. Looking at doing something similar for a customer. Noticed you used 3 drawer runners for the bigger pull out did you use 3 for the smaller one too?

      Thank you. No just on the larger drawer for stability 👍🏼

    • @theoneoffworkshop
      @theoneoffworkshop  3 месяца назад

      3.5 x 30, 40 & 50. I’ve found that 3.5s work really well with 18mm MDF 👍🏼

    Качественно сделано, но очень тяжелая конструкция получилась. За толкатель двери будете постоянно цепляться одеждой или руками
