The first block was ‘uh’ and then ‘Wow’! The second block made me happy, thinking of Christmas and cold weather, two of my favorites, with fun fabric and easy construction. Teresa, you’re a charm.
I like very much both of the blocks, I would love to make them but with the first one I don t understand placing the rulers to cut😔 could you do one tutorial to explain working with these 30 and 60 degrees angles??? Please I know you can, you re such amazing teacher. 😉
wish i were comfortable using the triangle ruler...gives me the shakes harkening back to trauma in math classes! LOL no really...i would love a tutorial on using the triangle ruler, or any ruler with the angle lines, properly to cut blocks... thanks as always.!
I prefer using a regular ruler that a 60 degree ruler. I made a tutorial to cut at 60 degrees with a straight ruler ruclips.net/video/CU-xNA5GM1I/видео.html

Hi . Is it possible to do the first star pattern without the triangle ruler ?
You can use a regular ruler with 60 degree markings. This is how ruclips.net/video/v80as71DBGY/видео.html

I’ve notice that you you always iron your seams open, does that help matching better?
I press flat to get flatter seams. It doesn’t help with matching.
The first ones almost like tumbling blocks
Exactly. The technique in both cases is by Marci Baker.
