Well I'm watching this as I sat down with my little gato who doesn't like being picked up but the only reason he's not killing me is because he's too sleepy to do so, I now realise the urge to tell in comments something that you are doing that aligns with what the video is about.
Fun fact: adult feral/wild cants don't meow hardly at all. For us humans owned by a cat, they've discovered that meowing at us gets them attention and, sometimes, what they want. Thus, they do it more with us than they would if just around other cats. Also, read somewhere that cats view humans as must larger, more lazy cats. Not sure how they figured that out, but it seems to check out.
Kittens meow at the their mothers, but adults cats only keep doing that if they're raised around humans, since it gets our attention pretty well too. They definitely don't think we're just bigger cats though. My cat is really aggressive and territorial towards other cats (and dogs) but really chill and friendly towards humans, even new people she's never met before. They know we're different.
Am I the only one who feels like we need a full on comedy, sci-fi, action film based on Ryan George’s characters. Maybe it could involve around Time Travelling Reporter Guy. Comment if you agree
My cat, black, likes me only - hates everyone else in the house. I thought cats that don't like being picked up was the best because that is literally how people are. People randomly come in and try to pick her up only to realize mistakes were made LOL
Cats actually love me. Most animals do. I can pick up almost any cat and cats usually come to me. There was a cat in my apartment building that used to wander around and I was one of two people it let pick it up. I also had pet cats who trusted me so much I could hold them upside down in my arms and they still felt safe enough to stay calm.
I have a rare one then. Black and fuzzy (small) Mainecoon, can't get that fuzzball out of my lap. He loves being picked up all of the time. Purrs like crazy too.
It's weird to think that going from oldest to newest would matter, but with Ryan George, it definitely does. There's more solid, and consistent continuity on his channel than you get from most fictional universes.
It's funny you mention the It's Always Sunny podcast because in the episode where Dennis and Dee try to start a podcast, Frank actually interrupts with "Well lemme-lemme-lemme-lemme just..."
not all cats are the same. Like most of mine love being held. to the point where if im bending over to like pick something up one will jump from the counter onto my back. claws included.
Cats let u know they love you too, theyre just not as expressive as dogs, if someone said "I love you" in a language other than the one u speak wouldnt understand them either
My first cat was a terror to the neighborhood animals a week after we got him still a kitten killed a muskrat twice his size and dragged it into the yard. I'm honestly surprised my cat didn't kill small dogs like Chihuahuas because he'd attacked a deer before.
@@Ardit_Rama we moved to a small town in the forest and he just took ownership of the whole town and never wanted to leave when we had to move so he ran off as we were packing up the car to move.

Especially if he was cool. 😢ppl talk about how smart cats are but dogs are the goat. I think they “play” dumb so we can’t help but forgive em. Cats make it clear they don’t care, their loss.
cats are just as amazing as dogs, it's all about taking the time to understand each of their individual personalities instead of stereotyping them as uncaring or expecting them to act like miniature dogs.
Ryan sure loves his cats!!

The Ryan Genie has shown up before in the "Don't you dare close your eyes" video, so that might be what was giving you Deja Vu.
