Yes! This is all about the chemical side. Wait till I get into the anatomy -- something I am sure you'd have great insights into :D

Fascinating info! Really enjoyed this video! :D I think is crazy that very similar molecules often interact with our bodies in very different ways :O

It gets more interesting! I have a part 2 and 3 of this video. You start to see how a perfumer can rely on her/his chemistry knowledge in some areas -- but that final mile of getting a unique molecule with the correct scent depends on educated guesses and some trail and error.

I'm having a flashback to my uni chemistry lab course...... Very traumatic experience! Mostly because my professors were nowhere near as good as you! : D

I’m sorry to hear that your uni chem experience was traumatic. That frustrates me because I think of all the people that think they’re bad in science, when it may have just been that they were taught a subject in a way that didn’t work for them. That is one thing I really like about being on RUclips. There are a lot of yt creators who are trying to make learning a positive experience and they’re all trying different approaches. I’m glad you like this video! Hearing you say I did a good job put a huge smile on my face 😁

    I can't smell natural gas, and I use gas.😦

It sounds like you have some form of anosmia, the partial or total loss of the sense of smell. Have you looked into that?

no, but what you say is intresting, its just gas : thanz@@Msbeautyphile

Yeah! It's crazy that's we've come to associate it with that thiol smell, which isn't a native property of it!
