I’m sorry to hear that your uni chem experience was traumatic. That frustrates me because I think of all the people that think they’re bad in science, when it may have just been that they were taught a subject in a way that didn’t work for them. That is one thing I really like about being on RUclips. There are a lot of yt creators who are trying to make learning a positive experience and they’re all trying different approaches. It sounds like you have some form of anosmia, the partial or total loss of the sense of smell. Have you looked into that?

Yeah! It's crazy that's we've come to associate it with that thiol smell, which isn't a native property of it!
