    Some good deals especially for those that can take advantage of the Clearance BOGO! The associates probably won't know so make sure you tell them to ring up a 2.5HO battery with that impact!

      @ToolDeals Chris, It seems the 10% off code for the Toolant Allen Key set isn't working any longer either. 😫
      I was going to get them, but I hate when Amazon removes the promotion codes from these deals when they become popular.
      Screw them! I'll wait.

    Thanks as always for the deals and the smooth vibes. I bought the old M12 Stubby plus 4ah starter kit on a similarly priced ($100) BOGO hack last Xmas. I really like the tool, but the new one has insane specs, as do the updated M12 and M18 saws. The DeWalt impact also looks monstrous.

    • @ToolDeals
      @ToolDeals  8 дней назад +1

      Yeah, but the M12 is really just catching up to the DeWALT and Makita honestly. I've had a compact Makita for 2 years that produced 450 ft lbs and the DeWALT is like 550. Insane specs on these little guys that you'd generally have to get out of a mid torque! Just realized... I need to sell my Metabo HPT mid torque as it produces pretty much the same power LOL. Albeit it's corded and cordless though with a lifetime warranty.

      @@ToolDeals I'm mostly Metabo HPT and Dewalt at 18v and up, and scored the 1st gen HPT 1/2" compact impact on clearance with a free battery a while ago. It's good enough to keep around for my needs (I have lots of 1/2" sockets, too), but my 3/8" Stubby is about as powerful. I'm amazed at how much the power on tools has increased and the size has decreased in the past few years.

      No problem Geoff! I agree! Unless I could get the $100 BOGO, then I'd sell it and at least have an extra battery for free for the new one.

    Man, I ordered the DeWalt mower from Tools Direct on eBay. No batteries. Doh, hauling it back to UPS today. Really looked forward to the sucker. Folds nicely, and handle extends with same center pull tab. They offered $40 to not send back, but can't find the 2 missing 10ah batteries for under $145. Win some, loose some...

    • @ToolDeals
      @ToolDeals  5 дней назад +1

      Yikes! Yeah, you definitely need those batteries, and that's not something you could just swap out at Home Depot. They'll be looking for those batteries! If it came with the batteries and there was a malfunction with the mower I would've said take it to Home Depot. But yeah, you win some you lose some; but luck will never strike if you don't try!

    Would be interesting if the tool companies get to the point where you could buy the tool and battery without a charger or mix and match, tool battery and charger, or just tool.....cause at some point I dont need twenty single battery chargers from any manufacturer.

    • @ToolDeals
      @ToolDeals  3 дня назад

      LOL, exactly! I have so many Ryobi and Milwaukee M12 chargers I need to get rid of!

    The new dewalt impact driver comes with 8ah powerpack not powerstack battery. There is no 8ah powerstack. The new 8ah powerpack is tabless 21700 cylindrical cells not pouch cells like powerstack

    • @ToolDeals
      @ToolDeals  8 дней назад

      Ahhh, thanks for clearing that up! I was thinking it must be new but the battery looked funny. I'm still sick so I saw, "Power(blur)" and figured that's what it has to be because there was nothing in the description... that I saw.

    • @El_Diablo_LI
      @El_Diablo_LI 8 дней назад

      Yup...That 8AH battery that comes with that deal is the new tabless cell battery that DeWalt just recently announced.
      It's supposed to perform better than the current 8 AH XR batteries because it can deliver more power (in current, or amps) to high demand tools when they need that power during tough tasks.
      But just like when the 5 AH Powerstack batteries were first released, DeWalt is overcharging for that battery.
      Give it 8 or 9 months and those batteries will be selling for $140 when they're on sale, or roughly the same cost as their current 8 AH XR batteries.
      When the Powerstack batteries were first released, I wouldn't purchase them because I refused to pay that much for a stupid battery.
      But fast forward a year and a half later, and I've found the 5 AH Powerstack batteries with a newer 2 stage charger for only $100 on clearance. And currently the single 5 AH Powerstack battery is on clearance at Home Depot for $100.
      That's way more reasonable than the $249 DeWalt was suggestins as a MSRP when they were first released. That was crazy, and they're doing it again with these new tabless cell batteries that are just being released now.
      Just wait for them to come down in price if you can, because they will be lower when they aren't selling for that crazy asking price.

      @@ToolDeals It was $10 cheaper with the coupon when you showed it. I can't find what sizes this kit contains anywhere. Like a size list of the taps dies and bits it contains. Not on Amazon or toolant website.
