Experimenting with shorter bite size videos. So splitting the topic in multiple chapters/videos. Let me know if you prefer this type of videos or you are a fan of long and complete videos in one go.

Sincerely appreciate the effort that goes to putting these videos together. I didn't even know that FreeCAD had added tolerances to the Techdraw workbench!

Great videos, thank you! Personally, I would prefer longer videos.

as long as you keep the content so informative as it is, both lengths are great.
PS: your audio is kinda quiet

Great video, thank you very much! I keep trying to use the Shapebinder and then sketch against that for my clearances but it always ends up a mess of constraints. I haven't tried the new FC release with the offset tool, hoping it includes a single "offset" variable that I can leverage, unless there's a better way?
Varset is so much better than the spreadsheet for usability, can't wait to use it in my own stuff.

Thank you! Offset tool is a great addition. And you can even auto constrain the offset. However, you cannot offset the projected external geometry. That would make it so much easier.

Which is better the freecad 1.0 or freecad link branch? Thanks!

Tough one. If you asked 0.21 vs Link Branch - no doubt, Link Branch. With 1.0 I love what they did with Sketcher. Smart dimensioning, auto horizontal/ vertical, offset tool. You really feel missing features when going back to Link branch. However same goes for some link branch features not available in 1.0 - why cannot I project defining external geometry? Pad/pocket tools have additional and useful options in Link Branch. Preview for features is much, much better in Link Branch. I would love Reatlthunder to update Link branch with VarSets and Sketcher. Than again there would be no doubt.
