Yep, I completely agree with you. Original Eclipse was the best version, the best villain. Backup Eclipse was okay for me tbh , this Eclipse doesn't really count as a villain at all but he has the best design that's undeniable.

21:08 Admittedly, Eclipse is right in that regard. Monty hasn't been the best to Foxy as of late or at all. They of course had their friendly moments, but Monty was still a jerk for the most part. Sure, Monty is slowly working their way on improving themselves like building the new suit for Foxy that FC ruined and checking in on him when FC ran away. But as a whole, Monty hasn't been doing a great job of being a friend to Foxy. Yes, Eclipse is still a horrible individual, but I appreciate that he acknowledged the flaws of Monty showing that they're not an innocent angel either.
Eclipse liking Bluey is *SUCH* a dr. doofenshmirts thing. But Dr. doof is a better villain *(Bluey is a good cartoon though)*

You see, I agree with the sentiment that Eclipse had gotten worse as a villain with each death because, for the most part, that's true. He had his moments when he came back the first time but, after getting the star he just went down. Because his motivation, his will to go on just died especially after coming back this second time. He doesn't want to be around about as much as anybody else wants him around, he has nothing. He has no purpose and, as he's said so many times now, he's just tired. I wouldn't be surprised if he just let himself die after getting rid of whoever brought him back

But also lunar. And moon, when they had that interview with earth when Luke said he wants to forgive, eclipse deep down. Because he was made for it, it's because that's lunars brother.
The questions you're asking this Eclipse is pointless, because he's not the Eclipse that did all those things. He has some of the memories of the previous Eclipse, but not all of them. So there's a chance that this Eclipse might think differently than the previous Eclipses. So there's a (small) chance that this Eclipse can be redeemed.
I'm sure Lunar and Sun will really enjoy watching this video where they spend more than 20 minutes insulting the guy they hate the most in their lives. I enjoyed it too, many thanks to Monty and Puppet for bothering someone who deserves it, for a change! 😂😂😂

If Eclipse wasnt so obseesed on getting revenge on Sun and Moon, and killed them when he got the Star, then his second death could have been avoided. Now i think about it, i would love see a fanfic or AU where Eclipse actually does something more significant with The Star, like reset the universe and make it into his liking (I know that is what Lord Eclipse AU is about, but Eclipse could had made the universe different then Lord Eclipse's AU).
