I don't know why this woman receives so much flak from people. I get that you may not be a fan of her music, or watch her movies, or even support the same causes, but I saw people cheering on the fact that she and Liam lost their home. No person deserves that kind of mindless hatred directed at them. She was acting from a very young age, and despite her public persona and rebellion against the Disney cookie-cutter that she emerged from, she has never compromised her core beliefs. She could have grown into becoming a horrible, selfish person, and she's not. She didn't have to donate half a million dollars to wildfire rescue, but she did. It would have been just as easy for her to rebuild her own property and not given a rats ass about what happened to anybody else. It's the double edged sword of publicity - you do a kind deed, you are blamed for being disingenuous and self-serving, but if you don't do an act of charity, you are publicly pilloried. Nobody is ever satisfied with a good deed done if they don't like the person it's coming from. Going to have to get over that impulse as a society, because someday, everybody will come to rely on the kindness and compassion of strangers.

There has been a long rumor that he has a drinking problem. He has also noticeably injured himself a couple of times from falling in his own home which backs up the rumor.

If drinking is the case, I think he should retire or take a break. Because I can't even imagine what the guest must feel.
