Dont put Mandana, Nora and Sunny etc in same boat with Katrina Kaif because Katrina Kaif definitely has the 'IT' or X factor which they certainly dont. You can argue since she was the first one of her kind so yes she still holds that place. I think the reason Katrina Kaif is where she is at today and holds loyal stardom in entertainment world is because she in time got out of Salman Khan's clutches or Salman Khan's Girl Tag.

Entertainment industries everywhere are super closed to the outside world, you don't understand what happens inside unless someone speaks up.
The fact that Sajid Khan was never investigated or punished despite multiple allegations shows the kind of power some people in the industry hold.
Nepo kids are able to thrive because they can never really be exploited because of their background, the reason most of the actors you see have a connection to the industry is some form.
Glad she has been able to move onto better things.

To tell the Muslim women about the difference between life with medieval restrictions and normal life with only personal restrictions!
And also to give counselling/guidance to aspiring unanchored girls daring to venture into film industry!
    Happy take off!

Varun so Alia sonam Arjun all zero talent and looks. Some of them got better but they were given so many opportunities to get better like Alia. What about those that get zero opportunities we need to stop and boycott Bollywood

Part of the problem is that people assume that the entertainment industry (whether Hollywood or Bollywood) is a all glitz and glamour. They don't bother to research or read up on the darker, seedier underbelly of the entertainment industry before joining it. This may sound judgmental but actresses often times get roles in which they are merely decoration pieces that are portrayed in a sexualized/objectified way and even in Bollywood (item numbers/dances, etc, etc). So the women who have a .......conscience.....you cannot be so naive into thinking that you are playing a role in....your own....objectification by joining the film industry. You killed a part of your shame and your conscience by making that decision. And then the predators and the wolves of the industry unfortunately will pounce on that and take advantage. It's better to pursue another field....one in which others do not objectify you as a woman an in which you don't play an active role in objectifying yourself.

small feedback to the host: Instead of asking quick questions like 41:22 "Why did u leave?", kindly rephrase it in this way "so you left Malaysia after Dubai, what made you make that decision" | 23:27 "What do you mean by that?", rephrase it to this "to work in Bollywood u need a famous father or friend, have you heard that from lot of people? " 🙂

The reason why the film Industry is a swamp of casting couch is because millions dream of becoming an actor/actress as the money, travel and fame that comes is limitless and the only question that a powerful person who can make that happen asks is
Why you?? out of a million!! Hence, the favours, which is an unfortunate reality as finding a powerful virtuous man in this industry is very difficult.
This power in the hands of a few producers, directors and actors who can make and break someone's career is the actual problem. The industry seriously needs to be overtaken by a government body and then actors should be chosen based on merit! Also to mention the rules and regulations that come with it.🙏

24:40 Feels unreal even when it is happening, because why do they think they can get away with it? I am glad these women are strong enough to talk about it at whatever level they are able to. I think shaming the predators is the only way to tame those impulses from the powerful and reclaim / create safe space for professional conduct within any industry.
