I took the time to switch laptop so i can actually write my piece. You have answered the my question by showing the old and new adapters side by side. They have different style but still fit to the slot without converter of sort. Nice video and sound qualty. Dummy proof instructions. In short good job.

I was upgraded my RTL8723BE wifi card to AX200 and work with high improve speed and distance coverage. I only test with 2,4Ghz router.

I bought a WiFi antenna for my desktop last year and I didn't like it. I ended up with a motherboard that had built in WiFi. The card for my desktop happens to have the AX200 in it. I'll see if it works in my laptop that has the AC9560.

Hi, I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 (PH315-52) laptop from Christmas 2019. I was thinking of upgrading the Killer 1550i wifi card in the laptop with either an AX 200 or 210 wifi card, but I can't figure out which card will work. Can someone help me?

If your laptop has M.2 slot, for the WiFi card, it could work.

Hey, great video. You replaced the AC-9560 with the AX200. I have the AC-9462 installed in my system. Intel suggests the AX201 replaces both the AC-9560 and the AC-9462. But as seen in your video, that is clearly not the case. I was wondering if I can upgrade from the AC-9462 to the AX-200 without any hassle.

For the compatibility, we need to try. There is no clear indication on which one is compatible. These are cheaply available. If one isn't working try another one. In some laptop brands, there will be whitelisting, which prevent from replacing wifi cards.

There is no information regarding the compatibility. Need to try and see. The chip is not that expensive.

Unfortunately, I saw this after I unwisely used my fingers to remove the u.fl connector from the old wifi card...and guess what...the ring detached from the card just like how you showed in the video. How did you manage to use a needle to remove the ring from the connector?
Need to press against the ring using pin from inside and slowly slide upwards. If you have any magnifiers, try to see it and then try accordingly.

Is that Killer AX1650 compatible with Desktop computers?
I have a mATX motherboard with a m.2 slot. I have no luck getting it working.
I am not sure, some of the motherboards won't support it. Have you tried with some kind of PCIe adaptors?
@@GTCREATIONZZ yes this is accurate, sir, you can use the ones that mount a "laptop" sized wifi card onto a "carrier board" which plugs into the typical PCIe sided slots in a desktop! :)
So 2.4 gbps theoretical (max reception) still can't max out the gigabit connection. Kind of disappointing. It comes close on the download though.

AC link speed at 80Mhz is 866Mbps and 160Mhz is 2.4Gbps
after install can i use my laptop as a wifi 6 hotspot for my phone i use a lan cable 1gig on my notebook so if i use this wifi 6 card with as a hotspot i can use it as a wifi 6 router for mobile gaming?
I dont think so. For gaming, using a cheaper AC WiFi router will be a better option.

Can not confirm which models are supported. No need to change laptop antenna.

No need. basically you have 2.4ghz antenna and 5 ghz antenna on your laptop. The M.2 slot (where the wifi chip sits) will handle the data rates. Its all about how close you are to a router.

You make measure wrong! All test need be in the same host server (I see ~1GB/S from server "Yes 4G" and 850mb/s from another different server "InNet").
They are more or less the same my friend. Anyways I am testing the wifi, not the Internet service provider.
@@GTCREATIONZZ to test wifi speed perfect your need the same environment (same distance, same modem, same host server in speedtest, same PC host, etc…) in my test I receive diferente speed results with diferente server host on speedtest, so it’s not the same or like u say “anyway just testing wifi”
Yes for benchmarking, need to standardise the environment. In a general use case it doesn't matter. Even with same device host, same server, same distance, you might get different speeds

I am not sure. But some of the motherboards won't support. I got from Lazada Malaysia. You can get it from Ali express or amazon. Search for AX 200. The price is not very high. You can give it a try.

It is recommended to have the battery disconnected. This is to protect the electronic components just incase

This is actually mentioned in dell's user manual. The purpose I guess is to discharge any static charge from the components.

Both are same but different manufacturers. Intel ones are easily available

The wifi reception is very poor. Avg download speed is ard 6Mbps whereas at the same location my Realme mobile download speed is at 79Mbps.

Great, you don't need to worry about it unless you face any issues. Note that you need to have a wifi6 router to enjoy the benefits. AX200 is backward compatible, meaning you can still connect old router also.
for the maximum negotation speed I only got 1.2gbps and I can only get 500mbps when using speedtest, any suggestion? the Router I used is Verizon G3100
Bottle neck could be the router.

negotiation speed can vary, but you will be able to get full 1gig speedbif it's supported. Make sure that in your router settings, the 160Mhz channel width is enabled.
Also verify connection speed using gig lan cable

You can try swapping the WiFi antenna cables and reinstalling the drivers

Not really. It will not work on some motherboards. Need to try. Nobody knows which and all motherboards are supported.
You can typically google your laptop's model to check if you are "allowed" to install a non-oem wifi card. This means that you must specifically have been allowed as a user -- to install some non-original card. My own personal experience with what was called the "Lenovo Yoga 2 '13'" ref: www.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/yoga-laptop-series/yoga-laptop-2-13/ Lenovo chose to purposely lock down their laptop's BIOS system that is permanently controlled by Lenovo, they have decided to make it so that the BIOS will reject any wifi card hardware ID that was not the same part number as the one that originally shipped in the laptop. This means that if you needed to replace the wifi card, because it was broken, you can still do this. However, you cannot "upgrade" the wifi card to a newer , better, wifi card.... I was very upset because I could not use WIFI-AC standard when it first came out :( I was stuck with bad wifi card.

Will be having the driver if you have the latest win 10 updates. But to be on a safer side, better to download the driver before swapping.

Hi. This router gets bit hot compared to my previous archer ac1200. I keep it on a raised platform.
I am also facing issues on highest speeds. On a gig connection I am getting only half the speed nowadays. Something is wrong with the software something to do with QoS I guess. To link customer care has told me to return the unit to service center. I will update if the issue has resolved or not.
I am working on a video of AX50.
