Maybe put them 10 minutes in a towel and then use the brush? Saves time and the finish is still beautifull😊
I have this dryer. Stays in the drawer. The dog has to be perfectly dematted to work. The smallest tangle will jam the dryer. Pretty bulky in the hand too...
How often do you brush and wash your dog?

I saw it by Amazon too. Hmmm. Not bad idea. We see if or if not to buy. What do you say? In addition to blower is it not bad tool for a Groomer. Just for fun.😉The quality can be better in Future. That was the reason I dont bought it. Different heats for example. Not so loud and the brush quality must be good. A brush is quick broken. For private a good tool.

I think the problem is the air is being blow the opposite way too the way you brush, so for long hair it probably get tangled
When I was first training to be a groomer many years ago the saying that was drilled into me was the brush goes where the wind blows. A force dryer can easily tangle and mat up your dogs coat but as long as that dryer has that brush on it your all good.

I just got this, not sure about using as it gets really hot even on the lowest setting 😳..If I do use it won't be directly to my little..maybe use as just a hair dryer with another brush
It may be defective if getting too hot, however use quick movements and avoid staying in one area to long to avoid being burnt

It's best for occasionally use in the grooming salon and it's great for home use.

Yes, it's perfect for Yorkies. I dried one thoroughly and the dog was fine with it, he actually seemed so calm compared to when using other dryers

Can I use this for my husky puppy?
My dog absolutely hates to have her hair blow dried. She’s a havanese so she looks so pretty if she will let me dry her hair. I may give this a try. I hate to invest too much if she won’t let me use it on her
You have to do training. Almost all dogs you see who are so well behaved for grooming didn’t start out that way. There is a FB group for dog nail maintenance. The technique/process it suggests and gives instructions for to get them used to having their nails trimmed also works super well for getting them used to grooming too. You should check it out!
You're okay with the cord length too? How long do you think it would take to dry a 1 inch long standard poodle coat?
I am okay with the cord length as my wall socket is right beside my table. I am sure you could use am extension cord if needed.
Not sure how long it would take, it would depend on how fast you are and if the dog is standing still or not but estimate 30 minutes possibly

Why would you wet a matted dog then shave it while its wet? You ALWAYS shave a matted dog DRY. Wetting the matts make them tighter and harder to shave..... 🤷♀️

It's not too hot unless you hold it in one place. Keep moving the dryer just like we do when we dry our hair

Not at all useful for a full time professional groomer. Waste of money and TIME.
A lot of groomers have this dryer and love it. If you are in a very busy salon grooming lots of dogs then this brush can be time consuming.
