Q is different which I like, makes it easier to see but for other parts i ould only say "Why?". I don't know man, it's a welome change but just feels strange. I hate the new tiger form w leap on the ground shit btw, too much visual effects for that part.
Literally Why... all the effort, on this small changes. They should take all the devs working on all those small VFX changes and just make full visual reworks. Riot usually update champions by the basis of popularity, right? Ahri, Jax, Lee Sin, and Teemo are all popular and recognizable champions. I don't know why Nidalee would get updated over champions like Ashe, Malphite; hell, even Lux and Miss Fortune still use their outdated models with the tons of skins they have.
They already said that when champions receive VFX update it's because they consider they don't need an ASU just yet. Plus she is not a popular champion so I really doubt it.
I think that what they're doing is good, updating voices, vfx, and bugs for separate, so when its time for the asu, they only need to do model and history

Massive nerf btw, adding extra visibility to her Q when it's one of the slowest, most predictable skillshots in the game is a guaranteed -2% wr. Also, aside from this they just recolored stuff... This should be chroma-standard, not VFX update standard
Riot should really focus more on model & movement animation updates. The more skins they give to those older champions, the more work they have to do when they try to rework their animations. Judging by the speed at which they rework champions, It appears that some champions (maybe cho, zilean, etc) might just never get an update even till the game eventually dies. Sometime i find it wierd to have champions like Briar (who's animated to the upmost detail) and zilean (who looks absolutely sht) to be in the same game

Oh at last the difference between her autoattacks and Q is a bit different now (could use a bit more). Especially that Head huntress Nidalee skin. I have lost count how many people dodge her autoattack thinking it was her Q, only for her to fire the real one and hit.

i dont get why riot not keeping doing this when they could just make an ASU rework for the champion. i know rigging a new animation for all of the skin and redesign her skins and VFX might take alot of time but it's better than wasting a portion of time/money on uneeded VFX like this than working on a new ASU

If you think nidalee needs a full VGU youre tripping. Her gameplay fulfills her fantasy well (trap+spear in human form, hunt them down in cougar form), all she really needs is a new animation rig and model.
