Same man just said this exact thing not too long it's honestly the best way to peak my interest and or motivate me to hit the lab in fighting games in general especially with chapters you don't see to often like Lee
Man they give Lee all these tools just to make him mid tier at best. You’re basically redlining the whole time just to squeeze out any type of “advantage” when this game all these characters just have big buttons that cover every property. It’s insane to me. If Lee had unblockables or big buttons for constant high dmg 50/50s he’d be A tier maybe, but what this man displayed is constant outplay with S tier execution for B tier at best tools. Just constant redlining, it’s unbelievable. I don’t play this game but I watch gm’s Lee because the character is the most authentic to what tekken core/legacy used to be. It’s very enjoyable to watch but I can understand the frustration from the lack of cheese (upgraded mechanics) you have to deal with in this game. Not a single soul can replicate how gm plays with lee or level of understanding. At least the jf slide could knockdown harada like damn 😂
@@fightinggmdude ur a legend, I always want to ask why twt isnt in ur scope but I finally understand ability has nothing to do with it, the amount of redlining just isn’t in ur favor. I finally get it.
I personally really like Lee’s new slide. Heat buffs for Lee would be godlike. My personal wish is for either back 1,1,2 or back 1,1+2 to become heat dashable. At the very least they should have consistent wall splat during heat when you hit the just frame version. That way, whiff punishing people near the wall with those moves becomes crazy while it also complements Lee's awesome wall damage and oki. Not sure if that would be busted tho lol
Clive is annoying but luckily with enough labbing you can get used to seeing his broken ish. Can’t say the same for tournament players who only have a limited time to learn the counter play though hahah
I do feel like he coulda played a little better tho. Like how he kept using d1+2 till u punished him for it over and over. And some of his electrics felt a bit iffy, like he just threw em out without much thought behind em. Other than that his defence and vortex was pretty good.
