I'd buy the old black dresser for the hardware. And get them down to $20. Use it for workshop storage or put it at the curb. Keep the gorgeous hardware.

I wonder why you don't bring suitable transport when searching for furniture. Surely it would save a fortune on gas and time, having to go back to collect for your paid items.
I don’t understand…why do you buy a piece to put in storage when you already have a storage house full? Why not do what you have first then go buy something?

We've thought about this... Or even a sprinter van of some sort.
@FurnitureFlippingTeacher depends how much you want to spend, a basic 5x8 or 5x10 trailer with side rails are from $600-$1200.

Des Moines is a beautiful place. Our daughter lives in one of the suburbs. We love it there we are in Cedar Rapids just two hours and 10 minutes east.
We enjoyed our time there😄 such a surprise to see so many thrift stores within a close proximity like that! Loved it!
