I restarted my ebay this year took 8 bags of low value clothing to the clothing bank started with 150 items been a hike got 550 items now listing 7 a day ive done 24k in sales so im happy with that keep meaning to start a channel myself for my ebay dramas lol , might start when my next order arrives

The transparency is great, so many click baits they don't actually give you proper figures. When I started doing videos I knew it wouldn't be quick but it's surprising how long it can end up taking if you want to try and do them properly. Good luck for this year!

I now charge for delivery and not seen alot of change as some people prefer tracked 48 royal mail or yodel is fantastic. 800+ sales from March no parcels missing. Allot better than when I was paying £3.70 & parcels claiming of not turning up. So now I know that so many customers play you. Now they have pics on the posting so can't complain. Well done Ricky as I been flipping for 15 years but never used item till I started watching you n it's doing good. Thank u

Great video Ricky - as others have said you should be proud of your achievements this year. You have grown the channel a lot plus there has been quite a bit of upheaval with changes in eBay Vinted and you tried whatnot plus the consignment sales. Now you have a plan of what works for you it will no doubt be better next year. Can you make a dedicated video re the info on the advantages of a limited company as both of my daughters are thinking of career changes and may go down that route. I had a limited co before but we didn’t have a choice as it made sense but some things have changed since then. Hope this video gets traction and you can earn a good amount from it!
Some media company actually did it and sent it to me to try and win my business. Tell them I’ll post it and see how it performs. I mean it’s pretty basic I could do that.

Ricky thanks for being so genuine I had a good turnover this year but was also on a really traumatic car accident. Lucky that I have a “side hustle” in my business that I could manage to replace things. But that also led to being a bit fucked up and going F it and buying things we didn’t need. I bought too much stock so my resolution needs to be to knuckle down and sell it before I get more!

Suprised to see your eBay total was only £21k. From what I've watched of you I thought that would be higher and that's not me negging you - I look to you for inspiration. I started my reselling business 12 month ago and created a LTD company from the off. I did just shy of £24k on eBay this year but much less than you on Vinted. And, of course, my reselling channel isn't monetised. But the channels that are don't bring in anywhere near what yours does. All in I appreciate the transparency and will probably do a similar video as a self reflection and also a benchmark of where I am after a year and hoping (praying) that year 2 will be even bigger!

You got me thinking about the danger of reality shows where people trade is that when they become more successful as a personality than as their skill as a trader or whatever, the show becomes unrealistic because the sales don't matter, they are not spending their own money, and people are selling or buying from them because they are fans. The storage shows are just awful and the certain welsh man would probably be making bigger margins if the cameras were not running
Really good for first year, You tube revenue is insane, really 6 months of ebay and 6 of you tube :) Easiest way to make money is waste less of course. When you really get going its going to be amazing
I genuinely thought it would be about 3 times that amount of gross revenue before fees and cos . I am sure you will easily double it next year, have a good one! Also look into your rpm, seems very low. You should be getting at about £11 rpm with £24 cpm as your topic is financial, make sure you have channel category setup correctly and tag financial terms. Good luck.
@ some of the other resellers that post their updates seem to be more niche (e.g just clothing, just electronics) share higher daily/weekly revenues (average of £200 a day when taking in weekend sales) and you buy and sell more types of stock so thought it would be similar as you have more options however likely slightly offset by selling things a little cheaper. End of the day doesn’t matter if the revenue is high if cos is high as well, so main thing is you are happy with your margin, your sell rate and your take home pay for the hours you put in. As for RUclips revenue, I retired from making YT content but some of my old RUclips channels still bring in between 170k to 280k views per month and the financial focused channels that I stop posting on 3 years ago are getting around £11 rpm so worth checking your tags, worth also linking them from places like Reddit, facebook and discord to get more external views driving traffic to RUclips, the latest algorithm update boosts this as you are driving traffic away from other social media platforms to RUclips. Also remember to make some videos based on search terms that will be continued to be searched on forever (like this one). This really helps for longevity of passive income so if you decide to take 6 months off from RUclips the channel continues to bring solid views without you having to post new content frequently. Those videos effectively become your pension when you retire 👍 Best of luck in 2025!

i dont think i'm doing as well as i think i am, i think my issue is buying too much stock, i earn a nice amount but i would guess i spend 2/3 of what i make on more stock which doesnt work long term. hoping i can get my head around selling quicker in 2025 and cutting down on spending all the best for 2025 improvements
I worked my self hard last year and ended up just short of £25k on ebay, my best year, but still think i am failing in some way as after expenses, its like cut that in half, but now having seen your figures and i know you work hard, maybe we are all doing ok, just need to find better ways to scale it up.
Wait till the tax man gets his mitts on your NET lol not lol, I'm surprised at the revenue from YT , i think that's really good, and it'll improve when you get more followers, along with your selling . I watch an American called Hairy Tornado, watched him from when his selling and YT were just a side hustle from his job, then he was made redundant, and his side hustle took off. He now owns 3 houses and has an employee. His wife packed her job in and helps with his business. He used to do quirky selling challenges that people enjoyed and that took his YT page into the strasophere . Anything is possible with the determination ❤
Clearly RUclips is worth doing if you are willing to input the content and edit etc a lot of millionaires out there purely via RUclips most of which invest tens of thousands or more and stray so far from their true selves, Great video and insight showing what can be done and anyone who watches regularly knows the tolls it takes on you reselling, content creating etc can be a lot harder on the mind and body than a 9/5 in Asda etc 🎉 Keep em coming
"you made x amountof money" people do forget how much effort you put in each day to selling of packing many items and then also getting new items in shop's as its grind to wrap up multiple items each day and also keep going to charity places to find items to sell if you do it as full time job. Also then you got fee's and petrol on top if you drive etc.

Just do a self cert receipt and take some photos of the goods as proof of purchase, always been good enough.

I genuinely thought it would be about 3 times that amount of gross revenue before fees and cos . I am sure you will easily double it next year, have a good one!
Also look into your rpm, seems very low. You should be getting at about £11 rpm with £24 cpm as your topic is financial, make sure you have channel category setup correctly and tag financial terms.

@ some of the other resellers that post their updates seem to be more niche (e.g just clothing, just electronics) share higher daily/weekly revenues (average of £200 a day when taking in weekend sales) and you buy and sell more types of stock so thought it would be similar as you have more options however likely slightly offset by selling things a little cheaper. End of the day doesn’t matter if the revenue is high if cos is high as well, so main thing is you are happy with your margin, your sell rate and your take home pay for the hours you put in.
As for RUclips revenue, I retired from making YT content but some of my old RUclips channels still bring in between 170k to 280k views per month and the financial focused channels that I stop posting on 3 years ago are getting around £11 rpm so worth checking your tags, worth also linking them from places like Reddit, facebook and discord to get more external views driving traffic to RUclips, the latest algorithm update boosts this as you are driving traffic away from other social media platforms to RUclips.
Also remember to make some videos based on search terms that will be continued to be searched on forever (like this one). This really helps for longevity of passive income so if you decide to take 6 months off from RUclips the channel continues to bring solid views without you having to post new content frequently. Those videos effectively become your pension when you retire 👍

i dont think i'm doing as well as i think i am, i think my issue is buying too much stock, i earn a nice amount but i would guess i spend 2/3 of what i make on more stock which doesnt work long term.

I worked my self hard last year and ended up just short of £25k on ebay, my best year, but still think i am failing in some way as after expenses, its like cut that in half, but now having seen your figures and i know you work hard, maybe we are all doing ok, just need to find better ways to scale it up.

I watch an American called Hairy Tornado, watched him from when his selling and YT were just a side hustle from his job, then he was made redundant, and his side hustle took off. He now owns 3 houses and has an employee. His wife packed her job in and helps with his business. He used to do quirky selling challenges that people enjoyed and that took his YT page into the strasophere . Anything is possible with the determination ❤

Clearly RUclips is worth doing if you are willing to input the content and edit etc a lot of millionaires out there purely via RUclips most of which invest tens of thousands or more and stray so far from their true selves,

"you made x amountof money" people do forget how much effort you put in each day to selling of packing many items and then also getting new items in shop's as its grind to wrap up multiple items each day and also keep going to charity places to find items to sell if you do it as full time job. Also then you got fee's and petrol on top if you drive etc.
