I don't agree with Pauch Sr. being put to the rear after being brake checked. What was the man supposed to do stand on the brakes and start a chain of wrecked cars? But I'm nobody. Pauch Jr. drove an amazing race, what more can you say. Congrats to the winner, he earned every lap of that one. His crew, set up man, and especially his engine builder deserve a trophy as well. That thing was Hooooooooooooked UP & Gone!
Nothing like watching Billy Pauch Sr. battle down the straightaway with Ryan Godown. They really put on a show cause they hate each other's guts. I don't know about you but I've never really been a Godown fan. He smacked Pauch out of the way for no reason a couple times when I was at New Egypt in August.
+MichaelTJD60 they are both super talented. I try to give benefit of the doubt, when there's a rivalry especially in competition like this, it's easy to get a little heavy footed at the wrong moment. Happens on both sides, mostly it's just racing as they say. I agree, they put on a great show! I appreciate them both.
I agree, you can get really tense in a race like this. I did like Ryan Godown when he drove the 901 car with a small block Ford motor earlier this year and last year. But that's just cause I like Ford.
+MichaelTJD60 Aha! You're a Ford guy, duly noted! Agree, in this particular race I think Godown was trying to avoid the 659, I don't think there was anything intentional about it. Can't wait to get back to this track again in 2016. They don't race dirt mods in CA like they do back in the northeast that's for sure!
Haha you're right about that! I need to get out and see more races. Not just in the NJ area. I live near Bridgeport so I'm there every week and compared to some other tracks it's really a dump lol
+MichaelTJD60 I personally like the smaller tracks, less than 1/2 mile, more action. You should check out Grandview Speedway sometime. They put on an AMAZING show. I was only there once in 2014 but it was great. Hoping to get there once or twice next year. Looks like they put on a good show at Bridgeport though.
This shit is my jam! I love racing so much.
Good race by Ciccone... GREAT restarts. That's really where he won it... he killed the restarts.
This is true. I was happy to see him win that night. Is he still racing modifieds?
