- Here is a review and comparison of the MAONO AU-PM421 vs the Blue Yeti to find out which condenser microphone kit is better. The microphones are both affordable plug and play usb condenser microphones. However the PM421 is more of a studio microphone bundle kit, and includes a boom arm stand that clamps onto your desk. This was really helpful as I was debating which of these two mics to get. You helped me decide to get the Maono. I found the sound better for voice which is what I’m looking for. What you called “muffled” I found to be a warmer sound which is exactly what I was aiming for in a new mic. Thanks for the review!

Manao sounds better with a warmer sound, it's not muffled, just warm versus the Blue's cold sound.
Maono 422 is available now, is it better than blue yeti for youtube reviews?

Awesome! Enjoy your new mic. I honestly don't know too much about streaming yet, but I downloaded OBS a while ago and I believe you can set up your mic in there to use while streaming. Once I figure it out for myself I will make a video on this topic in the future

something confusing is in the video the amazon link shows PM422 and your review unit is PM421 right ? so is there chance that stand has better quality on PM422 ?

I just double checked the link and it is still showing the PM421 for me. As for the stand that comes with the PM422, I'm pretty sure it comes with the same stand as the PM421 because I have several Maono microphones now and they all seem to come with the same stand

I am digging the content of this review but i think it should have been an apples to apples comparison, where the other mic should have been something like fifine t669.
