Hello everyone, my name is Julie and on Thrilled Thrifter you will find that I absolutely love thrift shopping.(Especially for home decor!) I share all things thrift here on my channel to teach you how to go thrifting for your home, family and friends. {I'm not a reseller!} I mostly thrift at Goodwill, yard/garage sales, FB marketplace, antique stores, estate sales and so many other local thrift stores. I believe you can make your home beautiful on a thrifty budget! I will take you on so many thrift with me shopping trips, share my thrift hauls and almost always show you how to use thrift finds in your home. I post every Friday and sometimes on Tuesday. I thought clothes pins as soon as I saw it. Use for pool toys was a great idea.
Clothes pin bags usually aren't that long. Pool toys is a really good idea.
It’s awful long for clothes pins… I thought college or young kids to get them started putting their clothes in the dirty laundry 😀. This is a great idea!!!
I’ve seen net bags like that used in bathrooms, hanging around the tub for bathtub toys for kids. So using for pool toys is just as good of an idea.
We had one of those when we were little. My mother use to put clothes pin & hang it on the clothes line.

It’s too large to be for clothespins, It’s for dirty laundry. Used by students in dorm rooms. They hang it in their closets.
My granddaughter is 23 yrs. old and graduated from college last spring as a RN . She had a job at a hospital in Austin before she graduated and she is making more money than she knows what to do with. So proud of her. She works in post natal with new Mamas.

I am a nurse ,recently retired. My youngest daughter is a nurse practitioner. We love being able to help people. I have several nieces and now great nieces who are nurses. It’s been a blessing for us to be able to do this .

Hi Julie, I was a Emergency Room Nurse that retired after 41 years in 2016. My Son is a Nurse Practitioner and his Wife is a Nurse Anesthetist, and thanks for the shout out. Great video and thanks for sharing.
My sister is a former nurse. She worked long hours. Her body can no longer handle the stress of the job, so now she is a homemaker. She misses the job, but God has her where He wants her. Thank you for mentioning/ giving a shout-out to nurses. Love your videos and hauls, especially the think outside the boxes.
I'm a retired RN, worked for 32years doing what God called me to do, love on people, for some at their worst moments in life. It was a privilege and made for a memorable career! Now, both of my daughters are RN's and keeping the tradition alive!

Saturday. June 22, 2024. Good morning, Julie and family. I hope you're staying cool in this heat. I have retired nurses in my family. The blue blouse with the white stripes is going to look beautiful on you. In PA the temperature when we went outside to clean our garden was 84F Feels like 89F at 9am. Now at 12pm 93F and it feels like 102F. Sunny. Yesterday I was watching the news on 6abc Philadelphia, and the weatherman said in India it was 122F and Saudi Arabia 125F. I stay right here in Pennsylvania inside my house with our Central Air. Stay cool and blessings for everyone.
I followed in my mother’s footsteps and was blessed to be a nurse for over 20 years. My daughter just graduated from nursing school and my niece is also a nurse. All of us agree it is a calling and is truly such a privilege and blessing. It was so sweet of you to say thank you. I also have a daughter with mobility issues and enjoyed working the last 10 years of my career at a rehabilitation facility that focused on children and young adults dealing with mobility issues. So…. Thank you 😊

I know exactly what you mean when you say it is a calling, my calling was Respiratory Therapy!!! I’m now a retired Respiratory Therapist of 40 years, would have been probably 8 to 10 years more, but our small town hospital was closed in 2014 when I was 59 and I knew I wouldn’t be happy in another hospital, so I hung up my stethoscope!!! But another door opened and I worked for my best friend until 2 years ago, she owns her own professional dog grooming business!!! The best of both worlds, my best friend and fur babies!!! But it does take a special person to work in the medical field, just can’t anyone do it!!! when I started in RT in 1973 it was called Inhalation Therapy, but was changed to Respiratory Therapy about 3 years later!!! Peace ✌️ Love ❤️ and Thrifting 🛒

Shout out to all nurses! You are amazing everyday and I know it is a tiring but rewarding field as you help to heal the sick and sometimes comfort the families of the sick. I wanted to be a nurse but God led me to teaching which I loved but have now retired.

I loved the box with the bird on it that looked like a book. I would have snatched that up. Also the kitchen floor mats with the chickens. Definitely a yes. My kitchen is all chickens.
You worry too much about someone putting something in the toiletries. That would have never crossed my mind because it's so very highly unlikely.
The candle would have been a definite no for me. I am really sensitive to smells and floral scented items would tear me up. I normally have to go with fruit scents.

That is a clothes pin holder that you use outside when hanging clothes outside. You can use it for different things. You can dry delicates outside too. 👍💜
I love Salvation Army's mission.
I have made a valance curtain using that plastic form with the holes. It took lots of fabric and it was pretty! I used it for my bay window, it was called a balloon valance years ago!

Sooo, I have 2 beautiful ferns that my husband bought for me for Mother’s Day and they are gorgeous in the baskets!
My mother gave me a longaberger mixing bowl, large, many years ago and I found the pitcher to match for $4.99 at goodwill!
I just love you! You are so you, no pretense and I love it! You made me laugh with the laundry room hangy thing! Both my daughters and a granddaughter are RN’s. All are great ones too!
Julie the bag you got is a laundry bag. I have a similar one. I put my dish cloths in it until I have a full load. The holes help it breathe and the washcloths can dry and not get stinky and mildew.

I love those wexford glasses, have never seen them before. I have the jars , now you’ve planned my week for me 😆😆😆I used to love the fuzzy felts similar to what you got for addy ( sorry if I have misspelled) when I was a little girl and bought them for my children also now trying to get them for the grandchildren. Ha, ha, you mentioned about looking at the top shelf and very bottom shelf. I'm only 5' 1" in my height. Some thrift stores, (not all), the top shelf is too high up for me to see things very well, especially things that are behind the items in front. No....I don't have anyone to go thrift store shopping with to help, so I may miss some things.
The very bottom shelf is also hard because I have lower back problems and left shoulder problems too...so hard to bend down to get stuff from the bottom shelf. Have to be satisfied for eye-level shelfs for now.
I think the net bag is for clothes pins. I had one years ago I used for that!

I'm redecorating the grandkids room.. they wanted a survivor/Swiss Family Robinson theme. They're getting it by Mamaw's thrifting, days, and a little temu magic!! I live to thrift!!

For your pool toy holder, affix a shepherd's hook and you can hang there an drip in pool! Inexpensive and pleasing to the eye.
Hey pretty lady!!! You could spray that larger baskets with polyurethane to protect it for longer use. Also, I love the vintage style bird book that it is a hide all. Wish you bought it. I just love your videos!
You can spray your basket with Weather Defense and it may last longer. I spray pretty much all my decor with it that I have outside and I think it works really well.
