Have you heard of BPC 157? In this video, I'm going to discuss this popular peptide, what it is, and its potential role in boosting the healing of tendon and ligament injuries, like ankle sprains, MCL and ACL injuries of the knee, Achilles tendon injuries, patellar and quadriceps tendon injuries, rotator cuff tendon injuries, and many more.
Dr. David Geier is a triple-board certified orthopedic surgeon, sports medicine specialist, and anti-aging and regenerative medicine expert. Dr. Geier helps you feel, look, and perform your best regardless of age or injury.
Dr. Geier believes that the best way to return to peak performance after a bone or joint injury is to get the injury to heal without surgery. Instead of invasive surgeries with long recoveries and unpredictable results, he uses innovative treatments, medications, and injections. The goal of this approach is not just to decrease your pain, but also to heal your injury and prevent it from coming back. But it’s not just about your injury and recovery. It’s about getting you back to what you love to do - your favorite sport, exercising every day, or even just playing with your kids and getting through your work day without pain. He aims to help you optimize your performance through improved strength, energy, endurance, speed, muscle and more. He wants to help you overcome your injury but also recharge your entire body so that you feel like you’re back in your twenties.

Keep it up brother. I am hooked.
If you have ligament issues and tendon and go get some prolotherapy and PRP be very careful when you start training again, i went back to powerlifting at 47 with perfect forms and my lower back hip and knee gave up, it took a lot of PRP to get me back but now i know lift moderate to light weight.

I think patellor tracking disorder. was told by a reputable micro biologist that bop-157 was the best bang for the buck and to try first. but I know someone who did the PRP and is raving about it. so happy to read your comment. but that $800 plus tax is hefty

So I really like all the great things that full spectrum CBD oil can do. ( sars for instance). I use it mostly for good sleep and recovery. my research suggests that this plant oil extract wilted to nullify many other medicines. I wonder how it may react with PCB-157. to help I am thinking to take the BCP-157 and then leave some time before taking the cannabis oil. but it just seems like an idea. would be helpful to have some info on such interactions. Also in listening to your video I am thinking to increase my collagen through powder and bone broths while taking 157, is this generally a good idea?
Great video doctor, nice to see some one from the professional field give their though. I'm willing to try bpc for a partial RC tear the only downside that i heard of is that it feeds cancer cells but i dont know if that's true
I've never seen any studies that suggest BPC 157 is associated with any cancer.
BPC has angiogenic effects, such as neovascularization. If anything, this should be a relative contraindaction for anyone with cancer history or high risk, if anything should be used to inform patients offered this. The research on this peptide is severely limited, and to date there are no human RCTs, and what few rat studies there have been have found both increased incidence of certain cancers (particularly gastic) and decreased incidence of cancers.
In summary, any angiomodulatory agent should caution us in its potential effects on cancer risk.
It looks like it could be very promising, but I’d personally be very cautious giving this to patients because there’s such little research done.
Thats only for HGH, not peptides dude!

Hi Doc is this help with bone bruise?
I am 45 and work in the auto industry, I have golfers elbow, tennis elbow, in my right arm. Left arm had surgery for tennis elbow, my left arm now has golfers. And my right shoulder has supraspinutus tendonitis and recently my right knee had major inflammation from repetitive auto work (picture yourself leaning into a cars front and rear door reaching the middle of the car, no seats in it yet, to do up connections and other things every 1 min 55 seconds is another car, and you make average 250 a shift), I am currently trying to research BPC 157 as my nephew uses it for the gym and I think it may help my issues. My nephew thinks I should also consider HGH due to my age. When I hit 40 everything definitely went downhill. Id love to see more videos from you.

Dr. Geier this was extremely informative content! I wanted to ask if you have seen any data on the route of administration of BPC in terms of different routes such as oral vs intramuscular? I listened to a different channel that seemed to elude to the theory that orally would focus on gut and intestinal healing while via a shot that would target tendons and muscles, I'd never heard any other doctor or practitioner state this so I question whether any other Doctor has read or seen evidence of this or does administration mechanism not have bearing on what part of the body that BPC is healing or working on?

We have noticed that localized subQ injections seem to work better for tendon/ligament issues, while IM form helps with GI/ulcers etc.. The preliminary data from nih, pubmed rat studies seem to show good effect on alcohol lesions, NSAID lesions. They only seem to test SubQ vs. IM. Capsule form is available, We would like to see more info on the effectiveness of how stable BPC is when taken orally...

There should be functional or integrative medical practice throughout the country. Those who focus on orthopedic injuries are much less common, unfortunately.

I was wondering if you provide the BPC-157 in compound form through a compound pharmacy I am in NC Or another doctor that would in NC
As a user of NC based PCI Peptides' on Etsy BPC 157 and TB 500, I'm quite impressed with their product quality and value for money. Their commitment to independent testing lends an extra layer of confidence in their products' legitimacy. I find the bulk powder form cost-effective, despite the extra step required for use. The BPC 157, in its arginine state, has been especially convenient due to its oral bioavailability. However, I do wish they'd provide more detailed usage instructions. Overall, I rate them 4 out of 5 stars, considering their value, transparency, and quality.

I am actually recording a video on this exact question, so it should be up soon. Dr David! Do I have to stop working out after taking a peptide shot in my shoulder to fix partial posterior labrum tear? If yes how long …. Also is it better than umbilical cord stem cell therapy?
I just recently got a stem cell surgery and they extracted the bone marrow from my pelvis. I also have a torn labrum in the posterior side of my left shoulder. It's possible. I have heard patients who say it helps.
What’s up doc, I just have a question when I was 15 I tore my ACL I’m 2 months post op and this is my first major injury. The way I tore it was off a contact injury when I went up for a layup and I got knocked to my right side and my knee hyperextended to tear it. Do you have to inject right beside the tendon in the thin skin area, or can you go with he meatier part right above it?
There is a fair amount of disagreement about where a peptide should be injected to work best. There have been no studies to prove exactly where or how far away is best.
Is this safe for women?
Hypothetically, if someone had a barely hanging on meniscus due to multiple injuries, based on the studies done so far, in your opinion, hypothetically, as a thought experiment, would bpc157 actually help repair that shredded but still attached meniscus?

No, what youre looking for are stem cells. Go to Tijuana or Medellin.
And dont let them remove your meniscus, get a stem cell treatment first
I'd be skeptical about BPC 157 helping to heal injuries inside a joint - meniscus tear of the knee, labral tear of the shoulder, but maybe it would. It hasn't been studied for those purposes, to my knowledge.

The doc had to put things in there to keep my ankle in place during the healing process.I love to free dive and spearfish and that deals with a-lot of ankle movement so would my ankle go back to moving freely and less stiff or would i have to work with the way it is now?
I feel like in my experience, my personal experience, peptides help a fair amount and they are worth taking, but they don’t take the place of surgery. If you need a surgery, try to get it done
Tb 500, would be a little better for this but its damn near garanteed that growth hormone would would work
@@charlesg7926 this is terrible advice. Your body has all the capabilities to regrow and heal from anything. Peptides are already naturally occuring in the body. Its just that the stuff we put in our bodies shuts down our amzing processes in regeneration and healing. Tb 500 and bpc and def gh have been proven to regrow and regenerate bone, tendons, ligament, gut lining, brain tissue, veins, cornea, etc etc. Surgery should always be a last resort
I'm a simple man. I see Chael Sonnen, I press like.
Been taking this for 3 weeks for elbow injurys ive had for 16months.. works great. My tendonitis is much better already. Cant wait for the next few weeks
Thanks for sharing!
I got triceps tendonitis in my elbow, had it for 8 years now. And I still lift regardless, just with pain. I think about taking BPC-157 to heal it. How much does it help you? Are you sure it does something, and it's just not resting or anything else.
what's your source?
Is a hip labrum too deep for this to be reached via injection? Insulin syringes seem too short but I’m not sure of the area of effect
I would expect that a physician injecting it into the joint might be more effective than subcutaneous injections, but that's just my impression based on the mechanism of action and available studies. It might offer at least pain relief via SQ injection around the hip.
Do you use Robotics for ortho joint replacement surgeries?

Will this compound help someone heal who was in a massive car wreck? Multiple leg fractures and hip fracture. He had 7 surgeries. His final one was one week ago. Would this help him?

My surgeon says he did not believe in peptides, any chance you could write me a prescription, just had a ruptured pec major repaired.
You would have to find a doctor who sees you as a patient and then writes the prescription.

Im glad you keep emphasizing its not advice. There are no clinical trials so there is no evidence. Lack of evidence doesn’t indicate negative OR positive evidence. Important distinction.
Is BPC 157 contraindicated with Eliquis?

What is your view on oral and injection? I read different stories about oral can be just as effective for tendon issues and injecting in "close" to injury area adds nothing to it.
.. guess i was to soon typing this. As you mention in the video later on oral is indeed just as effective.
Neither is effective. It’s a scam. But oral would be objectively less effective because if doesn’t make it through the gut
As a user of PCI Peptides' on Etsy BPC 157 and TB 500, I'm quite impressed with their product quality and value for money.
