How are the rails compared to the Twin Pin? Nice of you guys to snatch up the 2 with the best airbrush : )

Jenn, good question! The Reverse Vee Diamond Twin is a step down for the Twin Pin. Maurice wanted the Reverse Vee Diamond Twin to surf more like a shortboard so he pinched the rail a bit in comparison to the Twin Pin. You would ride this board 6" shorter than your Twin Pin and the rail has a more foiled feel in the shorter size.

@@REALWatersports I have the Twin Pin, and those rails feel pretty pinched as it is. At 2 1/2 thick, the rails feel more like a 2 1/4 thick board

I know what a V bottom is, but specifically what is it about the bottom that makes it a REVERSE V?

Tyson, thanks for that feedback! We try to provide a wide range of board reviewers from within our team to make sure there are reviews out there for all levels of surfing. That's why we will have reviews with professional surfers like Brett Barley, and also our full-time marketing manager who is a full-time dad as well. Jake also grew up shaping boards in Northern California, his level of technical understanding brings some really useful knowledge to the surface that even some of our pro riders on the team utilize. Guys like Brett who may be a better surfer, but still appreciates the years of knowledge Jake has in board design.

Try watching Skipper Surf Review. Terrible surfing, but he has thousands of followers. The average adult learner, which is a majority of surfers these days, can relate. They cant relate to Noel Salas' Surf'nShow type surfing.
