Italy could have done better i think today but spain is also levels clear of a number of teams in this tournament. Defensively italy are clear of croatia and i think when italy find their groove they are definitely better in attack compared to croatia.

People keep saying , spain domination and they deserved to win , but the scoreline tells a very different story. Spain played attacking football , Italy played defensive, that's why it seemed spain "dominated" , if spain weren't gifted that own goal , it would have been called a very good defensive work from Italy.

You remove the procession away from Italy and their game is exposed same as Spain and Germany. These teams base their training on 3-4 player passing's so remove that ability and the chances for direct goal shots are eliminated. Please watch the Greece 2004 Euro run that is what they did to every team, solid defense and eliminate the tic tac toe passing chases. Spain did want to win it but the luck was on Italy's side today too bad for the own goal.

That’s ridiculous. A couple slightly different touches and it would’ve been 4 or 5 nil. The performance was dominant no matter how many goals.
