"Raj Nplaim" Hmong New Year Performance in Luang Prabang

Mr. Tongthor (Tong) Vatou is from Xieng Khouang Province and came to live in Luang Prabang to become a teacher. Tong was honoured to take the stage and play the very popular “raj nplaim” instrument for the audience in Luang Prabang. He also donned his traditional Hmong clothing, as do most people participating in the Hmong New Year festivities.
