I read from someone that it works to delete a menu file in Save Directory. It worked for me. Solution: Step 1. Go To Documents/Banished/Save/ Step 2. Backup Menu.msc in a seperate folder Step 3. Delete Menu.msc in Documents/Banished/Save/ Step 4. Run Banished.exe

i had the same problem where i was unable to get past the loading screen when i would attempt to start up the game. i have been looking through multiple threads and forums trying all solutions i could find however none have worked and i still get the same Fatal error upon attempting to run the game. any help/advice would be greatly appreciated as i would love to start playing this game. btw i meet the min requirements for the game and i don't believe its a hardware problem however i could be wrong.
If you have bought the game, then have you tried to re-install it and if you get the same error, then just go through the instructions again? Or, if you have downloaded the game as a torrent, then have you tried to download some other torrent of this game?

Ey' bro, are you sure, that you selected HKEY_CURRENT_USER and nothing else? You sure, you didn't miss it while scrolling down? If still you can't find it then you should try this solution also: Step 1. Go To Documents/Banished/Save/ Step 2. Backup Menu.msc in a seperate folder Step 3. Delete Menu.msc in Documents/Banished/Save/ Step 4. Run Banished.exe This should work if you have the Manu.msc in that folder.
