I discovered a fairly large lump on my cat familiar’s cheek yesterday while I was working with a plant teacher. It is said that a shaman takes the medicine to diagnose illness and I suppose that was the dynamic at play. There were certainly a lot of emotions, but I got him scheduled for a visit with the vet. Heart = Broken. But I will persevere, sometimes a broken heart reminds us that we even have a heart at all. Yes I'm about at the end of the rope being displaced by this hurricane. There are two choices, stay where I am and save to make necessary repairs at home or go home and live with no electricity and possible plumbing issues. Either way I've started the FEMA application. Staying here means I have to be around, live with and deal with other people who live totally different ways than I do. I love my home sanctuary and my solitude. It's with being displaced and now having to live with other's I realize how little I speak on a day to day basis. With my moon in Cancer the home is very important. In addition to getting where I need to be, I pretty much have to start over turning off all utilities and bills at home and then restarting them all when return to home happens. Personal relationships are strained because of this hurricane and having to stay here. I've made a comittment to be here and do this with someone who is a key part of this recoup. There was a notice of a spring like feeling while helping my 88 year old father with the debris clean up here. Lot's of tree damage but not damage like where I call home. It felt like mother nature did one giant flush. Smelling the wood from the camphor and evergreen trees and seeing little tiny mushrooms sprouting, dragonflies, butterflies, birds and the starry sky with everyone's power out was like a new breath or start. I can only go one step at a time at this point. The whole county is undergoing so much. Email from the electric company states all of this was a 1 in 1,000 years rainfall event. All I can do is look at the front porch of my home via my ring doorbell. Yes, no touching I can't even touch the gate of my home because of the live wires downed.
