Mannie Fresh killing beats again. Like always. He needs to be in the HOF of DJs.
His beats always had gravitas. Made u feel something. Especially near the end when he changes the bass drum and other instruments and it really makes u hype.

It's been debated wether it was BG, Turk or Lil Wayne who came up with Bling Bling as well

Nah redman used it this same year.
@@Dan.Tebasco As much as I'm a hardcore Wayne fan, it was either BG or Turk who came up "bling" I wanna say it was Turk
This boy rapped the whole song!! Straight bars!
This man’s Star Power at a young age and lyricism was crazy!
you are clrealy a dickrider. His early work was FAR from lyrical 🤣🤣 rapping and bragging about how much money you have and shit is not lyrical
The youngest out the click, but his confidence was obvious he was born to be a star
Reason you have a young boy
Wayne always had it
he did double, trip, and and quap rhyme schemes. u so right. dude made his point early
Lmao I’m glad he dropping all his old hits for the new kids who never knew how FYE young weezy was
Facts that old wayne was snapping🔥🔥🔥
Thinking the same thing!!! A genius at work!!!
I actually don't like this song at all.
Hes not dropping them his management is, he probably doesn't even know this got rereleased.
Does it have to do something with cash money taking them down during the issues and now wayne has rights to them again?
Mannie Fresh's production is just as important as the rappers that gave rise to the cash money era.
I only like the chorus and the beats I'm more of a Mannie fresh fan than a Lil Wayne fan
A lot of outsiders dont realize Manny Fresh come from one of the most dangerous wards in New Orleans(7th ward Downtown) . He rarely mentioned it in his songs, people always bring up the uptown,Magnolia and the Calliope but Manny was in the same area around that St. Bernard Project.
That 7thward Downtown Innovation from Manny Fresh built cash money.
Yes Sir

Cash Money definitely took over the rap game from late 1998-2000 with so many classic bangers and albums. Wayne even at young age has been a star and dope lyricist. Hot Boy Wayne era was very memorable.
All the way to 2010 you mean. Nothing but straight fire for a decade. Way too fucking many to name
@nullvid I was talking about the old Cash Money that had Juvie, B.G., Wayne, Turk, Mannie, Birdman and Slim. From the mid 2000s to early 2010s, CMR was huge.
Nah, the rap game belonged to DMX during that time. 🙏🏾
@blackjesus6433 It wasn't just X who had the game on lock at the time because Jigga, Eminem, Cash Money, Mos Def, Dr. Dre and Nas also had the rap game on lock.

That was an ERA. Unfortunately it will never return or be duplicated. Just needs to be appreciated is all and hope for the future for new types of music. Problem is now these days people do replications. Ugh, always under whelming. Be original.
When people repeat the old shit it's called derivative. When they do something new it's mocked for not being as good, like that ain't just an opinion. Some people are never satisfied. I guess all we can do is remember the old shit and respect the new generation for breaking ground even if it's not our cup of tea. It wasn't long ago that people were laughing at Weezy for being newer and not repeating what older artists did.
Hard to have original beats bruh .. Not impossible but hard because you can still go to an old track and lay it and get that head bobbin and that’s your canvas how do you think puff got so big early 90s just samples. Not disagreeing with you just thinking out loud
@@neiljohnson3761 the thing is the most innovative beats now aren't traditionally "catchy" and more experimental so they're not for everybody
@@neiljohnson3761 I'm a Girl DJ. Also I don't have a problem with the sampling like Puff Did because he did it well made catchy hits that you can dance to. Some songs have been sampled since the 1960/70s so yeah not the issue but the output is no where as clean these days. I really want to say everything being put out is great but it's just not the case. I don't remember thinking, Weezy sounded like anyone else but himself. Had his own style. Cash Money did their own thing back then that's all I'm saying. 😊
