Good to see the Swan out! Any more thoughts on the draw bar tap mod for the Swan?

It's so nice out that way, even a day trip out to Chichester dam is worth doing. There are a number of really good camping spots including Ferndale Park which is a very good privately run camp 👍

Out of curiosity have you had any wind up problems with the Swan? We had one and found that the steel cables were rubbing on the square tubes that were part of the lift mechanism. This caused a major failure - took 6 months to book it in and have it repaired only to find at the end they didn't fix the root cause problem. So decided to sell before problem resurfaced. Took it to some amazing places though.

Thanks for this info. Love to see what campgrounds are around your area. Interested to know of other campground as we travel from Qld to the Hunter regularly.

There are many down this way, it's soo hard to choose. Mungo Brush is also very nice however those spots are booked via National Parks and often unavailable, especially in peak holiday time.

Our van is quite low (golf maxxi 501) .. hoping we can make it. Is this mostly 4wd??

You can easily drive in with a standard 2wd car, so you should have no dramas at all. Just take it easy when you hit the dirt roads however they are fairly decent forestry roads.

@@WorkLivePlay thanks so much! We've been wanting to go there since going to the Allen River.

@@Mjd396 no problem at all. Allyn River we do need to get to one day. I also have The Steps up at Barrington on our list. Frying Pan we have been going to for many years however, it's such a nice spot.
