Hello Mark, my wife and I have been busy with moving from the hill town of Montgomery Mass to the lower valley of Westfield Mass and have not had a chance to visit your site. I love your videos and want to keep them in Archive. I'm back on and starting to watch you again. The wife and I just purchased a Monterey 214 FS boat on 7/26/2024 and are still playing with it in the driveway since we don't have insurance yet. Your videos are great since they tell me where to go on any lake. Your almost like a MAP. Thank you for all the information. Gil and Gail in Massachusetts
Hi Gil. I just saw this message after replying to your other one about Rocky Hill. It's funny you call me a map because my wife used to call me "the human map." Haha. I created a Google Map a couple years ago that shows most of the boat ramps in New England in New York that allow Personal Watercraft because that's what we have and use. I didn't include any lakes that don't allow them, so there are more lakes around that allow boats but not PWCs. But, it's still a good resource to use as a starting point. Also, I didn't include "small" areas that have speed limits below 35 MPH and would be too small to boat to really go far. In states with a lot of lakes like ME and NH, the red icons represent lakes over 1000 acres and blue under 1000. In NY and the other states, all the icons are blue, even if a lake is over 1000 acres. HI again, Gil. I wanted to add that your boat sounds great! I wanted to add that close to Westfield are a couple nice lakes. Congamond Lakes is split between Southwick, MA and West Suffield, CT. It's not huge, but it's a nice lake. I haven't boated in many other lakes in that area.

nice video love this lake
Thank you! I sometimes tend to forget the local lakes, but this is a great lake, and it's close by. Thanks for watching!
@@MarkDHall of course. the houses on the waterfront are also beautiful
@@bubucl89 They surely are. It's crazy how some of them are up so high on a hill and there's hundreds of steps to get down to the water.
@@MarkDHall i've seen that!
