    ⚠️⚠️WARNING ⚠️⚠️
    This method is perfect IF you have the same version of Ninja Speedi that James has.
    If, like me, you don’t have the same version, the Speedi will not move from the ‘Pre Heat’ stage of this recipe. In extreme circumstances this could cause a fire. At the very least it will burn your pizza base before the top has even started cooking. This is no fault of James. He’s using his Speedi in good faith that all Speedi's are equal.
    As you may see from other comments on this method, the Speedi for some users is not moving from Pre Heat.
    The way to work around this is to follow James’s instructions up until the ‘30 seconds pre heat’. Leave it to pre heat for about 4 to 6 mins to crisp the base, then switch the Speedi to ‘Bake and roast’ which is on the air fryer side of the menu(UK version). Then cook on 200c for about 8 ro 10 mins. It’ll be near perfect. Keep checking it.
    Ninja must have versions out there that do not allow what James is suggesting.
    I hope this helps and clears up some of the confusion.

      Thanks for this I swear I did this before and it worked fine but this lasted 10 min on preheat and never went to bake so I cut over to Bake 375 and in a few min it was done because it was already so fluffed up by the steam

    Speaking as an Italian….if you are using plain marinara sauce, maybe sprinkle some grated cheese (parmesan or whatever you like) on top of the sauce before adding the mozzarella.

    Hi Just wondering what kind of pans can be used in the Speedi to bake with?

  • @Rob_430
    @Rob_430 Год назад

    Thanks, I just got my Speedi and used it tonight. I made Scallops with Fettuccini Broccoli Alfredo. The scallops didn’t brown as I had to remove them, not to overcook. I have the Ninja Foodi, just wondering if the Speedi is worth it, since things cook at different times even though it’s in one unit. I doubt I’d make pizza in this. It’s easier and bigger in my Toaster Oven.

    I made this last night. I have 2 comments. The preheat took very, very long, not the time mentioned. I do believe it should not be done on a steam function. Also, 375F is too high and results in it being burnt, like yours. I used 350F and the bottom crust was golden.

    Then only problem with this is that it’s cheaper to buy a ready made pizza than to buy all the individual
    Ingredients. And you can only cook
    One pizza at a time. So if you are feeding five people
    With a pizza each, that’s an expensive meal.
    This looks fantastic though and well done for sharing. X
