I remember back in 2001-2002 they opened with this and Clint played the intro with that tremolo effect and ping-ponging/panning between the PA stacks it was a total mindfuck. This video is the closest thing to the open to that show. It sounds like they opened this show with Black too. Brings back memories from seeing them in 2000-2002. Going to see them at the end of the month, my first Sevendust show since 2014
So true. I remember being literally scared for my life and simultaneously the most excited I had ever been the first time I saw Pantera in 1994 at age 14. From the front to the back, from the first song to the last, the entire floor of the arena was one huge INSANE pit. People crowdsurfing over the baracade every 3 seconds, an actual CLOUD of weed smoke that hung over the entire floor etc...I've seen hundreds of concerts and I've never seen like that before or since. Metal shows in the 90's were unreal. I've seen 7D at least 50 times, all time favorite band, always will be. I feel bad for anyone who didn't get to experience the Insanity of 90's metal shows. Seems like these days people act like little bitches at metal shows. Bump into them and it's like you slapped their mom. Fuckin sad. People would leave Pantera shows bleeding with a smile on their face. Sorry for the rant...
Wish I can go back in time when I see these.
Absolute peak music and performance here
So much energy 💪
Explosive!!!! Youth.
Such a raw performance of Black. Wish they played it every time like this live. 🤘🤘🤘

Morgan Rose is the best drummer in the world
Sunray lives on.
I knew I wasn't imagining that Morgan Rose used to play Mapex Drums back in the day.
The drummer is irrefutably one of the best in the world. He is so good it makes you want to sell your kit
