Ah yes, nothing like a good Brew and/or whichever Booze to quench anyone's thirst(especially on a hot day/night). I love these old Beer and Booze commercials(adverts) from the U.K., another great compilation Steve. Cheers 👍🏽😎👍🏽🍺🥃
Talking of hangovers, I found years ago that drinking glaasses of water between pints or shots (or whatever you're drinking) prevents hangovers. Saw it on some scientific TV show too.
I always find these such a treat, and I always look forward to Friday afternoons as a result. And I also get to play my own little game with each episode - which me will appear? Will it be the nostalgia-infused man transported back to his childhood, or the grumpy middle-aged git complaining about how adverts nowadays are rubbish, but also that many of the things in these old ads are arrant nonsense and marketing has never really changed? (Of course it's usually both versions of me 😁😛)
I remember the chinheads, me & my friends used to draw eyes on our chins to copy it, as I’m sure many children did. Was there ever a chinheads TV programme? I have a faint memory of one.
@@stevedickson5853 that’s right, they were pretending to be aliens called the Tarka dhal, Cat’s looked funniest because of his fangs. chinheads were a bit of a mini craze at the time.
Only one of these I have is Famous Grouse, so I guess I better have one tonight! Just recognised the guy at the end in the Stella ad as the guy in the Rabbit in your Headlights (Unkle) video.
Iman Bowie on the Tia Maria advert. All those old beers are now so weak, you need a vodka in them to get drunk! Cheers Steve for our Friday nostalgia trip :)
I like what's called beer weather, especially country pubs sat outside with a good pint and a bag of crisps, roll on summer 🍺
Beer weather? That is any weather.
Another great collection 🥃🍻

"Harvey's Bristol Cream" sounds like it should be the name of a shaving foam.
James Coburn is the voice on Carlsberg Special Brew.
Brilliant, brought back many good memories and plenty of bad hangovers!😂 Thanks Steve. 👍🏻

Nice to know the work is appreciated. 🤓👍
Long life beer was good. I like your flux capacitor.
Cheers! Can't time travel without one. 😀
How people could drink special brew is beyond me ' it was like mixing whisky & lager together ' a mean old drink 🥴
I tried it once. Just once. It was like drinking watered down treacle! 🤢

They did that chin face gag in an episode of Red Dwarf impersonating Aliens, it was quite funny

9:30 That carlsberg one is quite timely. 🤣
Yeah, I thought a similar thing. 😆
