Rick was one of a kind! A great man with wonderful sense of humor. An amazing musician, guitarist and vocalist. Many-many misses Rick❤️ Quo is with full respect still a very good band, but they will never be the same without Rick Parfitt.
To stand in the front row in front of rick when he kicked off Caroline was epic! That touch of feedback as he cranked the volume knob and hit that f barre chord cutting through the air like a knife.
he got the telecaster in about1973/74 that's when it's first seen on stage ( see the Big fat mama live Wembley pool 1974) and it still had the originalbridge set up
The classic stuff was just that ...classic. The dross is best not thought about. When you turn out classics you can be forgiven very easily for the dross. Thank you Rick for making my teenage years happy (loved your Tiswas stuff BTW).
ts said that it was Ricks wish that his beloved guitar here would be buried with him when his time was up! But when that time finally came around, his wife at the time? decided against it happening which, me presonally, was THE biggest insult to Rick, his last wishes and.... his memory.

I don't know if we all can ever get over his death, but his words "I could never leave Status Quo" helped me feel better.
Rick RIP

Rick always said Rossi and Ian Jones got rid of Spud and he wasn't aware of the decision.
wasn't the heavy drinking, smoking ,drugs that killed him
Ouate iz ze valiou of zis guitare ? 😆 That smelt bad French accent...
First album without Spud,, it was awful
Alan Lancaster said it was the worst album we've ever made.
