FEARSOME POZOJ sleeps beneath this old town..

🐉..the legend says that the green POZOJ (dragon) sleeps beneath ČAKOVEC..its head rests beneath the OLD CASTLE, while its tail lies beneath the CHURCH OF St. NICHOLAS..
over the years, we have visited ČAKOVEC on several brief occasions, but we've never actually been to the city center to explore it..
so, for the first time, there it was:
a stroll from the park around ČAKOVEC CASTLE to the city center and back provided a delightful blend of nature, culture, and local ambiance..the park offered a serene retreat amidst greenery, while exploring the castle provided insights into the region's rich history..entering the city center offered a vibrant experience with shops and cafes, set against the impressive backdrop of the castle..returning through the park concluded the walk in a natural setting, creating a harmonious experience of ČAKOVEC's richness..
anyhow, while strolling through ČAKOVEC, you must be very cautious not to awaken POZOJ..therefore, it's advisable to .s.m.u.k..😉
