Waste of money. No one likes the clippers. Never seen anyone wear their jersey around LA
We hear you! The Clippers are definitely working hard to build their fan base and create a strong identity with the new arena. Hopefully, the Intuit Dome will bring some excitement and change that perception. Thanks for watching it!
You Didn't Pay For It, Shut Your Trap Door 😭
@@michaelparrison1766 Indeed, the Intuit Dome is primarily funded through private means, with no public funding involved, different from the controversial new Buffalo Bills Stadium: ruclips.net/video/ouyY4abveqs/видео.html
@MegaBuilds5280 The Clippers owe the IUSD $12 plus million dollars, that stadium is not more important than public education.
I'm not a Clippers fan but to have a owner that actually cares about the team and the organization like he does is really refreshing. Not using any public funds and taking on sole responsibility of funding this arena just shows how much he is committed to the team, I can't think of any sports team owner that is this committed and his enthusiasm seems genuine as well. We need more people like Ballmer to run companies, he seems like he really cares about people.
better than the previous owner
Now he just needs a good GM to make better decision for the clips.
I believe SoFi was built without public funds as well. Which is nice because the city has wasted 29billion on the homeless problem and made negative progress
Now the Lakers got two stadiums. The laker fans thank steve balmer too.
Yeah I’m glad those bums don’t stink up the arena like they did our staples center ! Lakers are the only team in LA!!!!!
Dude the 1100 toilets got me sold that’s a huge time saver.
I'm glad the Clippers will have their own stadium now. Game on.
Back in December, I was going to an event at The Forum and happened to drive past this arena under construction. A banner said Future Home Of The LA Clippers or something to that effect. I think it's good they're getting out of the Lakers footprint.
This is good venue for Olympics 2028
Absolutely! The Intuit Dome is going to be a fantastic venue for the 2028 Olympics. It’s exciting to think about all the incredible events it will host. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! 🏅
100% USA baby!
Happy for the folks that will see their property values sky rocket in the next couple of years.
Tbh, it has already sky rocketed because SoFi is nearby too but yeah, its gonna skyrocket even further i guess😂
I drove past there yesterday and it’s wild to see all of that and it’s still the hood right behind it. The roads definitely improved but not everywhere. Traffic is ten times worst tho
Absolutely! It’ll be interesting to see how the new arena impacts the local area. Hopefully, it brings positive changes for the community. Thanks for your comment!
It already skyrocket and Inglewood has no rent control
And they can pay unrealized capital gains taxes under Kamala’s insane plan.
I live in LA. It's a gorgeous buidling and long over due. There is zero controversy at all .. Laker fans are glad to see the Clippers go and Clippers fans are like ..We gone and steppin up. Great addition to LA's list of amazing venues and the Olympics are here in 4 yrs!
I guess they gotta take Paul George off that promo 😅
Demarcus cousins at least got to play several months at golden 1 center before kings kicked him out😂
Man… “bumping and pounding arena” is not the wording I would use to describe my $2 billion stadium. But to each his own, I guess.
😂
Brand new stadium for a .500 win percentage team.
lol 😂😂😂😂😂
You're being generous.
.500? are you thinking of the Lakers?
Its multi-purpose arena!
This looks like something Steve Ballmer would make.
Bring the Clippers back to San Diego
Too late now!
I helped design the idas infrastructure for this arena. You’re all going to love this place, it’s awesome!
What's an "idas infrastructure"?
@@runvnc208 Idas is the “indoor distributed antenna system”. Basically it’s the WiFi. All the antennas mounted on the ceilings and the equipment rooms that serve it.

The Intuit Dome's unique design definitely stands out! It's great to hear you're excited about the opening and attending shows next year. The LA Sports Arena had its charm, but hopefully, this new venue will create some amazing new memories. Thanks for sharing!
😂
I'm not 100% positive on this , but I think this facility was build with purely private monies which make it far better than most other modern US venues as they usually include some taxpayers money .
Lakers better stop living in the past, and get someone with a Ballmer cash flow! That Arena is 🔥
Haha, the Intuit Dome is definitely raising the bar with its design and amenities! It’ll be exciting to see how the competition heats up both on and off the court. Thanks for your comment! 🔥🏀
Well said
Is the new arena gonna suddenly make the clippers champions ? They've never even been to the wcf .. pathetic franchise
@@sebfrett1005 factzzz
arena is trash. gimmicks after gimmicks
Meanwhile Barcelona is building a stadium with 105,000 seats with a sky-walk and a freaking mini sports village around it for $1.6 Billion, I think a large part of the Clippers cost is just because everything is ridiculously overpriced in California 😆
It's not that it's overpriced , it's the building codes and environmental adherence that you need to conform to that run up the costs .
its a racket
There are dozens of stadiums in the US that can seat 100,000 people. America has the largest and most advanced stadiums in the world. It’s a pretty well known fact if you’ve ever researched Stadiums around the world. This Intuit Stadium is only for basketball. The US has 10 times more stadiums with 60,000+ capacity than all of Europe combined.
Go research the Sofi Stadium or the Mercedes Benz Stadium or the Metlife Stadium. They are far better and more technologically advanced than any stadium in the Europe. The US has the largest stadiums in the world and we have the only super large stadiums with retractable roofs
Go look at the Stadiums that will be used for the 2026 World Cup. Each one of those is better than any stadium in Europe
@@tylerclayton6081 I mean have you seen the new Bernabeu? The stadium goes like 10 floors below ground level where they can lower and raise huge panels of grass and water/monitor it: ruclips.net/user/shorts0ajtgvjwaxg?si=uD6ad_JMg7HeFxRe
Barcelona's upcoming stadium in 2026 is meant to be even crazier. Yes places like Beaver stadium can hold more people but you can't compare the seat quality or tech in the stadium.
American taxes, Californian taxes dude
AECOM is the design consultant and not the construction partner.
it will be so nice to see both USA Basketball teams win gold in the 2028 LA Olympics here
Raise the Banners ... ooppss
The Cavaliers arena “Gund Arena” back in the 90’s to early 2000’s seated about 20,562, one of the most in the League for a while. Then it was renamed “Quicken Loans Arena”with new owners with minor changes and still over 20k people. Later on it was once again renamed and renovated into what it is today “Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse” ready for the 2022 All-Star Game, but sadly lost a few hundred seats if not a couple thousands due to renovation. Love the building, but needs more seats. Even MSG NY has more seats (20,789) for Boxing/MMA events and about 20k for concerts but only uses 19,763 for basketball games. And for major sporting events such as WrestleMania and SummerSlam, those in particular have been hosted in Stadiums since 2007. Which by the way is was epic here in Cleveland. So it seems that 20,000+ is the sweet selling spot for NBA games. Intuit is cosmetically beautiful, and will have many events hosted due to its regional location.
15-20k people at 3-4 games per week over the course of a 19-week regular season...
Add that up and you get roughly the same weekly attendance as the NFL
During the video, it was mentioned that the facility has a 4000 space capacity for cars. I did not hear what kind of access will be available for public transportation access. I live on the East COast and have traveled to the LA area. Driving on the LA area interstate highways is often a nightmare. Hope the new area can minimize this impact with some innovative public access.!!
Beautiful , Balmy BALMER feeling
The clippers should have moved to Vegas. That arena would have been perfect their
I think there would be a new team for Vegas.
Check out the baseball stadium vegas is trying to get approved..😂they have something better in mind
Damn I guess LA is super tiny if it cant handle two teams
@@futurehofer1564 it ain't that, the clippers need their own city. They are always gonna be the red headed step child in La. Vegas would have been the perfect move
Nah Ballmer shouldve moved the clippers to seattle instead but glad they have their own home in LA now

soooo you’re telling me the lakers got a new arena 😂
Nope owned by the Clippers. They would never let the Lakers move
I know lakers wish they had this instead of the clippers owning it. It's a bittersweet feeling for them, because in one way clippers finally out, but at the same time lakers play now in the worse arena in the LA metro. Sucks not to have one of the richest owners.
You may call it a new lakers arena when they play the clippers, but really is it the same feeling you would get if you don't see the 17 glorious championship banners hanging above ur head? Lakers fans may takeover, but the amenities are clippers personalized no matter what.
Thanks!
Thank you for your support!
I’m watching this on Aug 21st. Someone better show me this dome in a finished form

Every new building constructed in SoCal has to go through Seismic Calcs. Designers and Engineers work together on this aspect, that's not special for this project.
They should put the urinals on the court too so their team can be more accurately represented.

Colonel Klink from Hogan’s Heroes paid for that? 😂😂😂
If the Clippers win the NBA Finals in the next three years, just “know “ something’s up.

Great question! The Forum will continue to be used for concerts and other events. It’s a historic venue with its own charm, and the Intuit Dome will add even more options for entertainment in the area. Thanks for watching it!

All this for their star player to not play. Sad.
It's tough when a star player like Kawhi Leonard is dealing with injuries, especially with such an amazing new arena ready for action. Let's hope he heals up soon and gets back on the court to make the most of the Intuit Dome. Thanks for watching it!🏀
See you in LA28
I like the new stadium. But the location is really bad. Traffic is already bad. This will make it worse. They should have picked a better location.
Legacy Build
Those solar panels look weird on the roof.
I get it, they do have a unique look! Maybe they're trying to give the arena a cool futuristic vibe. Plus, they're doing their part to keep the planet happy.
And everyone will still be shoulder to shoulder
Few people in LA sheer for the Clippers since it is originally a San Diego team. I agree w the folks that said this stadium would have been better in Vegas.
click bait, we see nothing,, to rapid
Ballmer didn't want to buy the Bears?
Haha, maybe he thought building a new arena was more exciting than buying a football team!
I never understood why 1 city has 2 basketball teams🤷🏾♂️
Or 2 football teams..😅
@@slejandroaanchez2071 that too🤣😂
Because it is big enough to do it. NYC is actually big enough for each borough to have 2 teams in each sport, except for Staten Island due to it's low population and difficulty getting there, but of course other cities would cry about that. L.A. does try hard to keep up with NYC though, even though NYC COULD leave it in the dust if they chose to.
All you talk is just over the top features that doesn't even matter, maybe focusing more on the construction process, materials, hurdle and architectural prowess
Is it called "The Donut" yet?
Looks like a parking problem
solar panels make the dome look ugly
This isnt a "rivalry". The Clippers have how many rings again?
It looks like a huge toliet bowl. I might be bias but at least they dont have to cover up the Banners anymore cause there wont be any. Just glad they finaly got kicked out. Bye felicia
People got their priorities backwards
If the clips don’t win a chip, it’ll be just another state of the art arena… which would be good for concerts and other events but never ever will the the clippers eclipse the Lakers in LA…..

@@MegaBuilds5280 no pun intended, can’t wait to visit the campus.
I feel a bit sorry for Steve Balmer, no matter how good of a stadium it is, the Clippers will always be in the shadow of the Lakers: 17 championships, 27 hall of famers, Wilt, the Logo, Kareem, Magic, Kobe, Elgin Baylor, Shaq, Worthy, etc. LA will allways be a Laker town

does the US not have public transport? here in Aus most our stadiums provide hardly any parking. Check out the MCG in Melbourne, 100k capacity with maybe 500 carparks and that's it
really really bad public bus transit, no effective or widespread railway system or anything else, in addition most cities arent made for being walkable or bikable. So yea parking is pretty important lol.
@@tsurai9686 I've been to a few stadiums and arenas in the states and it's the 1st thing you notice, just car parks everywhere!
Actually, LA is rapidly developing Light rail for the Olympics
@@tsurai9686After years being a New Yorker riding the Subway. I want a Car and Comfort. Having the option to take public transportation and private is the way to go.
While some stadiums, like those in New York City and Chicago, are well-served by public transit, others rely more on parking due to the car-centric nature of many cities. It’s interesting to hear about the MCG in Melbourne with its minimal parking! Hopefully, we’ll see more cities here in the U.S. investing in public transport options around major venues. Balmer should demolish the great western forum. Let the Lakers come back to their original location.
How do you build a whole new stadium and only have 19K seats? I know it is basketball, but shouldn't that be, at least 40k seats? You would think they would build it to handle 60k people so they can use it for other things.
wow, I just had siri tell me the average NBA attendance. It was just under 19K. That is so sad. Basketball was so much better in the 1980's and 90's. I stopped watching it when they just started tossing 7ft plus people out there, skill or not.
Great point! The Intuit Dome is designed to offer an up-close and personal basketball experience with 18,000 seats, which is pretty typical for NBA arenas.
