Later on it was once again renamed and renovated into what it is today “Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse” ready for the 2022 All-Star Game, but sadly lost a few hundred seats if not a couple thousands due to renovation. LA now has two of the best stadiums in the world, but the biggest respect is that the state didn't actually have to dole out money for the Intuit Dome. Hard to imagine a billionaire that is actually fine footing the bill
I feel a bit sorry for Steve Balmer, no matter how good of a stadium it is, the Clippers will always be in the shadow of the Lakers: 17 championships, 27 hall of famers, Wilt, the Logo, Kareem, Magic, Kobe, Elgin Baylor, Shaq, Worthy, etc. LA will allways be a Laker town
I know lakers wish they had this instead of the clippers owning it. It's a bittersweet feeling for them, because in one way clippers finally out, but at the same time lakers play now in the worse arena in the LA metro. Sucks not to have one of the richest owners. You may call it a new lakers arena when they play the clippers, but really is it the same feeling you would get if you don't see the 17 glorious championship banners hanging above ur head? Lakers fans may takeover, but the amenities are clippers personalized no matter what.
Because it is big enough to do it. NYC is actually big enough for each borough to have 2 teams in each sport, except for Staten Island due to it's low population and difficulty getting there, but of course other cities would cry about that. L.A. does try hard to keep up with NYC though, even though NYC COULD leave it in the dust if they chose to.
All you talk is just over the top features that doesn't even matter, maybe focusing more on the construction process, materials, hurdle and architectural prowess
does the US not have public transport? here in Aus most our stadiums provide hardly any parking. Check out the MCG in Melbourne, 100k capacity with maybe 500 carparks and that's it

While some stadiums, like those in New York City and Chicago, are well-served by public transit, others rely more on parking due to the car-centric nature of many cities. You have to consider the inflation on top of it as well! Just a thought!
They should put the urinals on the court too so their team can be more accurately represented.
aerial view has it looking like a giant air-freshener
Steve is a dorky geek with a compassionate side and that what was needed to build the Intuit Dome. I can't wait to get to L.A. to experience it!
why is the construction cost so cheap? is the land free??? can the fan at the up-top, loof seat see the game? lol
Ready for the coming Olympics
Thank god they’re finally leaving staples 🙏🏽
Rhymes with classy !!!!!!!!😊
I feel a bit sorry for Steve Balmer, no matter how good of a stadium it is, the Clippers will always be in the shadow of the Lakers: 17 championships, 27 hall of famers, Wilt, the Logo, Kareem, Magic, Kobe, Elgin Baylor, Shaq, Worthy, etc. LA will allways be a Laker town
ufc events gonna be hype in there
Resembles a basketball net?? Uhh... Ok, if you say so...
199 game clocks? Just make it 200!!
only 18k, some basketball heaven. seems like nobody wanna beat the united center
Next time you attend a game and the tickets are 450 a piece you’ll know why
I like the new stadium. But the location is really bad. Traffic is already bad. This will make it worse. They should have picked a better location.
Raise the Banners ... ooppss
The sound at SO-FI is terrible
soooo you’re telling me the lakers got a new arena 😂
Nope owned by the Clippers. They would never let the Lakers move
Am I trippin or does that not look like a basketball net at all wtf 🤔😂😂😂
My goodness that is one hideous freaking arena .
I’ll take The Forum anyday
This isnt a "rivalry". The Clippers have how many rings again?
I saw Olivia Rodrigo here and it was a horrible experience. This venue isn’t built for concerts.
I never understood why 1 city has 2 basketball teams🤷🏾♂️
Or 2 football teams..😅
@@slejandroaanchez2071 that too🤣😂
Because it is big enough to do it. NYC is actually big enough for each borough to have 2 teams in each sport, except for Staten Island due to it's low population and difficulty getting there, but of course other cities would cry about that. L.A. does try hard to keep up with NYC though, even though NYC COULD leave it in the dust if they chose to.
Do you think all cities are the same size?
I am more into concerts than basketball games. I am looking forward to seeing Mary J. Blige perform there on 03-01-25 (Sa)!!
All you talk is just over the top features that doesn't even matter, maybe focusing more on the construction process, materials, hurdle and architectural prowess
I wonder how many 10 & 15 dollar seats are available.😂
after seeing "the wall", i'm sure someone can make this in nba games with better features
does the US not have public transport? here in Aus most our stadiums provide hardly any parking. Check out the MCG in Melbourne, 100k capacity with maybe 500 carparks and that's it
really really bad public bus transit, no effective or widespread railway system or anything else, in addition most cities arent made for being walkable or bikable. So yea parking is pretty important lol.
@@tsurai9686 I've been to a few stadiums and arenas in the states and it's the 1st thing you notice, just car parks everywhere!
Actually, LA is rapidly developing Light rail for the Olympics
@@tsurai9686After years being a New Yorker riding the Subway. I want a Car and Comfort. Having the option to take public transportation and private is the way to go.
While some stadiums, like those in New York City and Chicago, are well-served by public transit, others rely more on parking due to the car-centric nature of many cities. It’s interesting to hear about the MCG in Melbourne with its minimal parking! Hopefully, we’ll see more cities here in the U.S. investing in public transport options around major venues. Thanks for the insight from Down Under!
If the clips don’t win a chip, it’ll be just another state of the art arena… which would be good for concerts and other events but never ever will the the clippers eclipse the Lakers in LA…..
I hear you! Winning a championship would definitely help the Clippers make their mark in LA. Even without a title, the Intuit Dome will still be an awesome venue for concerts and events. Let’s see what the future holds for the Clippers! Thanks for watching it! 🏀🎶
@@MegaBuilds5280 no pun intended, can’t wait to visit the campus.
u need to put 20k setting capacity
Looks like an alien spaceship 🙈
28 billion would have solved the homeless crisis.
No it wouldn't. Many of the homeless prefer living on the street. They wouldn't even take a mansion if you gave it to them.
confidently wrong
Colonel Klink from Hogan’s Heroes paid for that? 😂😂😂
What is wrong with Steve Ballmer ?
Cool fact: we had a “mega flush” day, where we all flushed every toilet/urinal at the same time to test if the systems could handle it.
Edit: everything went fine.
A “mega flush” day? Nice to hear that everything went fine! Thanks for watching it and sharing!
Not a thorough enough of a test run unless everyone actually used the toilet first. Be thorough sir.
Wow I didn't realize it was so close to So-Fi Stadium. That was a great idea. The Olympics are gonna be amazing in 2028.
Wait! The Clippers have fans? O_o
Clippers with a billion dollar stadium is like putting a million dollar ring on a women that looks like dog pool, that cant cook, clean, and wont sleep with you.
The Burj Khalifa cost $1.5bn. This ain't worth $2bn. More like $300m max
That's cute. Laker fans are still gonna turn out Intuit Dome the way raider fans turnout Sofi when they play the chargers. Mr Balmer will not be pleased. 😂
Haha, you might be right! LA fans are definitely passionate, and it’ll be interesting to see how the crowd dynamics play out at the Intuit Dome. Let’s hope Clippers fans show up in full force to support their team. Thanks for the fun comment! 😂🏀
He wants to make money. Why would he care who the people are rooting for when they’re all paying Balmer
It looks like a huge toliet bowl. I might be bias but at least they dont have to cover up the Banners anymore cause there wont be any. Just glad they finaly got kicked out. Bye felicia
