Yknow what’s so incredible? All the other characters I’ve played as, their beams stop when they impact an object, and blow it up if it’s a building or a bridge or something of that sort. Anyway with Destoroyah, his beam goes through things and keeps hitting other stuff, which is exactly how it functions in the movie. It’s a micro-oxygen beam. In pierces any metal and goes through. That is some seriously good game development right there. That’s awesome.

I can't believe how OP Destoroyah is in this game, especially since I've played him in Godzilla: Unleashed and his horn attack can literally kill another kaiju in a matter of seconds!

Destoroyah is my favorite Kaiju.
There is a graphical glitch in the PS2 version of Godzilla: Save the Earth:
1. Use Mechagodzilla 2 (Heisei).
2. Use the forward charge attack (the one where he charges towards his opponent using thrusters).
3. Spam the jump button until Mechagodzilla delays his attack. However, DO NOT stay in the air or it will not work. Only jump.
4. If done correctly, Mechagodzilla should have his boosters turned on even when he is doing nothing. This can be cancelled with an attack using thrusters.
The jump has to be done when Mechagodzilla's feet leave the ground (approximately, but it's best to spam anyway).
They really should’ve given all the monsters a sweeping attack like how destroyah has it. There’s nothing more satisfying than watching everything infront if you explode in one sweep.
That sweeping breath is extraordinarily satisfying for destruction. Not so good against monsters, but fantastic for wiping out buildings.

I'm aware, but Destoroyah's roar is extremely slow to start.

I think that's how long it was supposed to be in the films, whereas the Destoroyah in Unleashed is a different variant of him, mainly the dark purple skin.

Destoroyah in this game looks very powerful but it also seems like his moves are very limited, he’s very good at carving a path with his horn and oxygen destruction beam, and his flying tail flip seems very good, but if anything attacks him from behind then he gets repeatedly hit stunned and it looks like he has a bit of trouble when it comes to fighting the larvae monsters of all things

I wish ebirah was in this game. He's one of my favorite Kaiju and should get a chance to gain respect. I'm probably the only one who has this opinion.
At the very least he appeared in Godzilla: Save the Earth, having a 3D model and all. I think he'd look pretty hilarious but be fun to play lumbering on land and chain-locking opponents with his claw and spear-hand.

Most annoying... That's pretty tough. Gotten so used to all their attack patterns. But Godzilla 2014 still gives me problems sometimes, his moves string together so easily and consistently.
Yeah he is really more of an offensive and defensive type all together.

Nope, there's only the main campaign where you play certain stages with specific monsters & generator destruction, and "King of Kaiju" which is a series of versus matches against random computer opponents. No free-roam destruction stuff. Also, these days you can only find the game on secondhand markets, such as Amazon or eBay.

@@elenasemenova7160 the people who made the game lost the license in the rest of the world besides Japan. It got taken off stores years ago and no new content ever for it unfortunately, even with the success of the recent kaiju films. But hey second hand stores are a good bet to find it and depending on how much you’re willing to spend you could get it good quality

They wont, it’s a discontinued game they can’t add more stuff because it’s not on the play store
