oakcy Sort of a logical process: Racing is always the strive for improved technology, or, in other words, it naturally gets more expensive. GT3 is not to be compared with GT3 from a couple of years ago. While there is BoP, newer cars are faster. GT3 is still booming, but in another three years things may change. Same as with the 1998 and 2009 GT1, really.

I absolutely love the Emil Frey Jaguar XKR and the old Aston DBRS9s, but sadly manufacturers don't like to see their new cars beaten by the older ones. Furthermore, pit stops time of top racing teams improved significantly. But the 57-car grid at Monza two weeks ago was simply epic!

I've not had the time to travel abroad but here in the UK we have the British GT3 championship which has a grid of GT4 cars mixed with it. due to the smaller circuits in the UK we don't have a huge grid but the selection is still very good. The pitstop times will always get quicker I reckon as they are always making things easier and quicker to do

After I read your answer +19Bozzy92 I was curious if a semi-automatic would even be allowed in GT4 and had a look into the technical rules of GT4. Answer: yes, it's allowed if SRO gives you the waiver. Same with just sequential gearboxes. Without a waiver from SRO you would be only allowed to run a H-pattern manual gearbox.
Assetto corsa did an absolutely flawless job with the sound of that GT MC GT4
