The Iron Dog race start’s February 17th. It is 2500 miles long. Check it out on their website. They race in 2 man teams across Alaska. The start and finish are a few miles from here and we can ride our sleds to there from home.
That’s racing i would have done the same thing. It’s scary as hell but that’s what they signed up to do. It’s a dog fight until that checkered flag I wouldn’t race any other way but the way those two guys did.
@@brentwilmot8431 Used to go every year as a kid, in fact we followed the big 3 as my dad used to race them back in the good old days of the triple cylinder Polaris! Do they still sell those awesome pasties?
They honestly let someone that eventually won replace the skis under caution and retain hes place. That would be like NASCAR letting 2nd place put on new tires with 3 to go and keep his spot.
Since when is a polaris yellow I think that's just stupid painting a polaris yellow won't help to try and out sell skidoo if polaris wants to sell more sleds mybe they should just build a better sled instead of the junk that there trying to push and I would rather they would run the I 500 like they did back in the day that was more of a challenge for man and machine.
also Polaris maybe a sponsor but the team can make it whatever color they want i think its awesome what some of the teams design like my buddies who race the 21 sled they have purple LEDs around the seat for the team colors
Junk? The 850 had it's issues but that problem got solved. I went from arctic cat and ski doo back to Polaris. Polaris surpassed them both atleast a decade ago, sure ski doo is great in the four stroke department and artic cat is about bankrupt.
It’s crazy to race something as long as that, let alone in the cold of winter.
Anyways, that was an incredible finish!

Best finish in snowmobile history. Congratulations to Tommie Bauer racing!
That’s for sure
That was the best finish in the history of anything I think
What a finish!! Track was roughhhh by the end and what a battle! Also happy rider popped back up after going hard into bales.
Wow, what a finish.
That contact down the stretch looked like suicide wow.

@@J27-usa apparently you don’t race snowmobiles. That’s usually a black flag situation
@@jeffmoleskivintageiceracin5935 Waxahachie......
For sure. It's a race, not some screwy death match.
@@jeffmoleskivintageiceracin5935 where was the black flag then? If you’re scared go to church. I’m gonna send it for the win.
@@J27-usa for one I do go to church and you never answered my question do you race snowmobiles?
That's Dedication!!👍
Getting bad, I just watched a snowmobile race, to quench my NASCAR thirst.
Try being an Indycar fan, we’ve been waiting for what feels like 7 years for the season to restart!
Skip Nascar, watch races that are entertaining and put on by people who don't think you're a racist.
Thanks for Posting this up!
Great Close Racing!
Thanks for posting the highlights!!
That was a good race to watch
Best snowmobile race finish ever
That was KICK ASS !👍
They have this race in Ontario also, except that the maximum speed is limited to 35 mph by the OPP.
That was awesome.
Shit was crazy bruh he put it all on the line for that win
Whoo hooo
Holy
Used to be an ice race , now it looks like a snow covered motocross track!
There was over a foot of ice at one point. Between the warm temp and 2 inches of snow that fell before the race started it really changed things.

Do they still sell those awesome pasties?
I was a corner worker and we had pasties for our lunch
its because of the power put out dirt tracks and hell your normal road does the same. also remember that this was after 10 hours of racing
this needs to be on iracing
